Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for.

The northwest and also portions of the northern plains and we got a lot of weather over the weekend across.

Both of these areas we had significant snowfall -- portions of the cascades of people picking up to.

-- worry foot of snowfall Montana also getting hit with a lot of snow fox and we even had some severe weather associate with our strong cold front.

That did produce some tornado touchdowns across the state of Minnesota so again a very active weekend -- -- looking a little bit quieter out across.

Forces of the northern plains and the northwest it is surely a lot colder 23 for high temperature over in Bismarck 41 over -- Rapid City.

And widespread high temperatures in the thirties across -- not too bad out on the I five quarter for Seattle -- -- Medford and even reading.

With high temperatures into the fifties.

There's so they have -- deal with some areas of rainfall across portions of Seattle Portland and even some higher elevations snowfall there are still some winter storm warnings in effect.

Across the cascades in Washington because we could be looking at.

-- to eleven inches of snow sponsor spots but that's along the higher elevations so.

Not good news for anyone doing any traveling out there but good news for anyone trying to do any -- otherwise northern plains looking much better.

-- over the weekend we had all that's no fun North Dakota you guys are drying out -- getting that sunshine but again it is a very cold day out there you're really gonna need to bundle up.

As -- take a look at the future radar we're gonna continue to see that moisture across parts of the Pacific northwest pushing eastward.

And it will be producing some snowfall across parts of the northern Rockies nothing too bad -- you will get some additional spots looking at some more snow like western parts.

Others say Wyoming also western portions of the -- Montana but again.
