Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast and also the Great Lakes and today -- -- And -- some very mild temperatures out across northeast not feeling like November at all with some areas.
Looking at temperatures fifteen to twenty degrees above where they should be at this time of the year when -- -- warm spots.
Is a city of Syracuse announcing New -- we are looking at a high temperature as we get into the afternoon hours.
At seventy degrees 61 over in New York City 66 in Boston and 69 degrees -- high.
In Washington DC but behind this cold front we do actually have some very cold air that sinking into portions of the midwest when he -- will be your high in Minneapolis in Marquette.
41 over in Chicago in the -- you're still going to be -- that transition zone where you still haven't really totally seen.
The switch over behind the cold front with a high at 55 are still looking at some of that mixture of the warm and those cool temperatures.
Across -- area but that front is headed eastbound we're gonna see changes as we head into portions of the and you -- quarter.
By Wednesday with -- being dropping temperatures the front is producing some areas of showers and storms across parts of Michigan including you in Detroit.
Parts of Ohio and Indiana as well as areas.
For the offered to south in Kentucky -- the southeast and again this front is headed eastbound there won't be some areas that will be seeing a little bit of a switchover from the rainfall.
Over to snow were not expecting any significant situation to this.
But as you see that transition over to snow that means at that cold air is pushing eastward.
On that -- boundary and we're -- deal with areas of rain as we head into early Tuesday and many people that are still without power are gonna have to endure those very cool temperatures.
