Thanks so it is a Bill O'Reilly in a week there's a Bernie segment tonight let's bring in the purveyor Bernard Goldberg dot com at joins us from Miami.

So this Petraeus -- pretty stunning is a non.

Well you know -- my first reaction was.

I want to know about this this is -- -- -- -- this is a private matter and I figured of course.

He has access to top secret so it's an important story and then I thought somebody ought to tell that to Bill Clinton.

Because he also had access to top secrets and was fooling around with someone who was in his life.

But if there's good news that comes out of this Petraeus matter it's that now that sex is involved may be the so called mainstream media.

Will -- -- little interest in being -- All right so you believe that.

The media has covered this fairly so far the Petraeus and -- what three days ago broke two days ago so all over the place and he can't ignore it.

No you can't ignore it it's a story and you know I'm I'm not concerned I'm -- interest and and except as it predicted pertains at all.

Two policies such as Ben -- and I'm thinking.

As I say now that.

Petraeus and -- you experience -- -- -- sex right used -- areas you know live in the united states of entertainment and now it's actually been injected they have to cover.

But.

Well what about appears at the top of the program being outraged by the time line.

Saying you know what here's another example the bombing -- actually knew was going on it buried it.

Until after the election in the you know and on and on and on that matter.

Well I don't know -- it's true but if it's true I guess it does because they've they've managed to very the Ben -- story.

I mean the the media has said that since Romney didn't bring it up they they didn't feel any obligation to bring it up.

So they put that past the election and they put this Petraeus -- past the election.

This second term is going to be pretty ugly for Barack Obama because these things are not going to go away.

I think to betray us thing will go away unless there's some compromising information -- got out on his computer to bad guys.

I think you know this is it to a lighting and site -- locate it well it won't be the bad guys but there's some indication.

That.

His his.

Whatever you want to call her his friend yeah may have made a speech and and given away some.

Secret and I -- -- -- bad thing did the only thing that could happen would be.

If holder gets dragged into this which he may.

Because he obviously oversees the FBI and he knew what was going on and then it did see that he buried it.

And then you got fast and furiously on Israel and you can -- -- convict you convict you can very certain things were only.

A certain amount of time and second terms are not kind to second term presidents and I think coupled with the stagnant economy.

And Ben Ghazi and whatever comes out of this Petraeus thing.

Is you know Barack Obama won the election but he may have also lost the election.

Well we have a press conference on Wednesday Soviet using see how aggressive the media is I think is that first press conference the president is held since he graduated from Harvard Law School.

Because we haven't had a lot of those.

I'd I -- my talking points memo which was you know quite extensive in.

You -- hated I think a fairly vivid picture of where we aren't America's socially and you -- What can I answer it bill in in a political sense chart.

Because because I think if people agree with you they're gonna vote one way if they agree if they don't agree with you it's gonna affect their vote.

I think that the -- I think Dennis Miller made a lot of sense that's number one.

Right that's and you didn't but I -- what I agree more -- -- -- that is not coming back traditional America as we knew it is gone.

Wore it well June and Wally and leave at a here.

Yeah pretty much and let's let's let's look at -- this -- from a political point of view we keep hearing that America is a center right country right.

If it's a center right country how to Barack Obama went to elections so I'm not at all sure it's a center right country that's number one number two.

We keep hearing that Republicans have a problem with black voters and Latinos and women and young people but.

Far and away their biggest problem the biggest problem for Republicans is win.

Republicans.

Far and away.

Two days after the election of listening to Rush Limbaugh the radio.

And a caller comes on who identified himself as a traditional.

Up family values conservative I know what that means right from the job.

And he says I will never these are his words I will never vote for a moderate Republican and then for good and he didn't vote for Romney he -- home.

And -- for good measure he says.

That if any Republican ever says I'm gonna reach across the -- I will not vote for him.

Pure -- like that will sink the Republican Party but how many how many Republican what percentage would you put on that kind of mania.

Presentation while many robberies or -- we know that -- We know that three million fewer.

-- -- Republicans voted this time then they voted for McCain I don't know how many of those agree with this guy but I'll -- it's at least a million persona.

And then if they nominate somebody that he likes.

You know some heart and this gets back to the talking points some hard line social conservative.

That Republican will never win either bill.

-- -- have been able to persuade people in the middle.

But your vision for the country is good for them and that's what I was saying you think -- -- Hispanic precincts can be won over.

You just have to -- what it's not good for you this is in good -- you.

It takes a certain kind of of Republican it takes a kind of conservative Barack Obama and I mean that in the best sense for conservatives.

And you know what Republican messiah -- don't come along that often -- -- I don't think things look good for Republicans unless they find that magic candidate.

That's why I wrote that killing Lincoln -- by the way to show people what Abraham Lincoln did under the Republican back.

-- -- -- -- -- -- --
