Q well General Petraeus last days of the CIA were reported -- contentious.

By General Petraeus to get to know people within the CIA sort of fell flat -- Contentiousness undercut his -- relationships there and again from the Wall Street Journal's reporting.

It sounds as if General Petraeus wanted to stay on and then last Monday.

He got a call from the head of the Director of National Intelligence James clapper.
