Baghdad is the Tea Party is the best -- for the Republicans going forward Richard victory as chairman of conservative HQ.

Does come.

His latest book is conservatives betrayed hundreds of you bush and other big government Republicans hijacked the conservative cause.

He's -- an activist a very big during the Reagan revolution good to have you back Richard thanks for coming on the program tonight well.

Always a pleasure.

What I was just going to the five stages of grief for cancer.

And I'm here.

I don't kind of view and -- -- it's just a public service and I'm hearing I think hearing a lot of anger first denial then anger with Karl Rove had an island.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Very popular concerns you.

It is not and I guess and then Dick Morris a denial to what about anger -- the -- -- anger what what do you think the solution is for Republicans that the.

I mean I was with ninety conservative leaders today LB with a 300 -- leaders held a two more Saturday.

In is that anger is this one is disappointment in regard to disillusion.

But we're -- we're excited we feel that we're maybe liberated that we can go out now and do what we have wanted to do for a long -- And that is literally takeovers the Republican Party in the process of writing a book beyond a couple -- -- takeover.

-- -- this this year 2012 marks to 100 year anniversary.

-- in my opinion the most important political battle in America and that's not between Republicans and Democrats it's inside the Republican port.

-- years ago this year in 1912.

Ten Roosevelt left Republican Party started the Bull Moose Party which led to the election of Woodrow Wilson.

And it's so small government constitutional conservatives like myself.

Have been.

Battling these big -- Republicans ever -- sometimes they're called window will p.'s Tom do the you know Nixon of forward.

George W.

Bush George W.

Bush done -- You know you know like I'm you know like any of these guys.

Well you know that I'm sure there and I gas -- -- they're they're -- -- -- but -- big government Republicans that they who doesn't like compellent Americans.

Americans don't like big government republic.

-- -- George W.

Bush get to terms had a George H.

W.

Bush did want to leave -- -- George H.

W.

Bush won in a landslide election because people fought.

There they were voting for the sir Ronald Reagan presidency.

Term.

Okay when Ronald Reagan's shadow moved away from wrong aged George H.

W.

Bush -- I don't think -- -- -- get 30% of the vote is the next election.

George W.

Bush won each election by one state he barely won each time.

And then you know election in 2006.

Republicans lost -- congress.

2008 they lost a warehouse in my opinion having nothing to do with Nancy Pelosi Harry Reid Barack Obama had everything to do.

Would think corrupt immoral Republican leaders George W.

Bush Karl Rove -- -- -- -- Bill Frist Mitch McConnell John Boehner.

People don't like this all animal -- eating in the sense yes I think it is it is immoral it is corrupt.

To speed and money.

That you don't have.

And send the bill -- your children and grandchildren that is corrupt and that isn't anymore.

You're doing it for the sole purpose of winning elections and how appropriate that it turned to ashes in their -- This should be the leaders -- going forward on some of the people you all my guys.

-- you know.

It's it's a great question they're gonna think a good answer -- I've been that the national level now for 51 -- and in that entire time we needed lots of things we need you know more candidates more elected officials more money more.

Organizations.

Books magazines whatever but the number one thing that we've needed all that time that -- lacked.

His leadership and and you know -- was -- have a -- -- -- mr.

give me a -- Ronald Reagan or a -- gain respect that that's cute.

Former Clinton Newt Gingrich was up -- for at this time and no he didn't get.

-- -- but he he was a very effective conservative leader back in the eighties in the ninety's no question about it.

He wasn't my first got a choice for her president's time but they make.

Well ahead of a -- love affair had about five or six weeks with that Rick Perry governor of this and and in most conservatives like myself that support and Rick Santorum and we were very.

Rick Santorum is so far out of the mainstream in terms of -- social positions.

He's not really ballots.

The you know that says that the reason people think that in Indian and most people would they would agree with you -- -- because.

The other -- was not heard from Mitt Romney you know if I accuse somebody.

Or somebody is accused of something and there's no response somebody is accused of being an alcoholic or womanizer or whatever -- nobody responds.

Then use in the charges correct.

And Mitt Romney would not respond to these charges Republicans have a war on women -- sector.

In my opinion.

Barack Obama and the Democrats are the true extremist on women's issues for example.

It's if there is a Boortz botched abortion and the baby is born alive.

Obama in when he was in the legislature said that woman is entitled to a -- -- He believes in partial birth abortion.

So an hour before babies to be born he says that.

In LA Guardia airport and that mr.

-- what he really favors is that decision should be made not by the government.

But by a woman and her doctor and her religious affiliation but that's fairly readily.

-- that -- at that board if you you know the aboard the abortion issue is a non -- the Republicans abortion has been legal since 1973 it's gonna probably stay legal.

So that's really -- and if you're gonna win on.

Well I disagree -- but but to balance.

The run Mitt Romney and the big government Republicans.

Did not engage the American people -- a discussion about traditional moral values about anything other than.

It's the economy is the.

You say mr.

Gregory that the country is moving in -- direction of realizing gay marriage.

I'm not none -- making marijuana regularly actually available.

That that women overwhelmingly supported Barack Obama because they view the Republican Party is still.

Toward women out there that you know and got.

-- Republicans could not articulate in did not articulate.

A traditional.

Moral value position.

There are four states very deep Blue States.

Then voted -- are about 4740%.

For same sex marriage and same sex marriage.

The issue from the conservative position -- six points ahead -- -- in those four states.

And for those four states that the indeed Blue States they weren't yet but 32 times.

Traditional conservative definition of marriage has -- talent.

I understand that but things are moving in a different direction right now so that's 11 election can -- but who would be all that but that's the way things have been going.

It is moving away from these traditional positions and Republicans have broken off the -- Let me just go back to make a good question you asked a few minutes ago and that was who's going to be -- is going forward play we were gonna have a traffic jam.

-- for the first time in my life.

For you know -- to a -- have been I have never seen this before we're gonna have a track again the small government constitutional conservatives who -- group -- -- seriously contest for the presidency.

People like -- to -- -- senator from.

Pennsylvania -- -- the senator from -- tell you governor from India and in my pants Rand Paul this senator from Kentucky.

Maybe got a pit crews to you senator.

From Texas Marco Rubio the senator from Florida.

It goes all -- bondage and now from Florida to go -- media in Louisiana.

Walter the governor from Wisconsin it's.

It's a long list of people who are going it's.

You know be strong leaders for our.

Cause you don't think there's going to be a battle in the party from those who say look -- we immediately Mitt Romney trying to make himself into a severe conservatively at the word yet.

And and we need a moderate we need if Mitt Romney had run as a moderate he was when he was governor of Massachusetts he might have won.

But he was try to be an extremist which he is not and Republican Party don't you think will argue between the we Tea Party folks in the more moderates for control of the party.

Yes we will have that battle no question about it but I.

I think strongly.

That we've seen that lands to big government Republicans.

Be the nominee for the republic important we're just targeted George H.

W.

Bush to George W.

Bush about -- -- John McCain's.

The Mitt Romney's they are failed national politicians people don't.

-- you are the guy you work with -- you -- become muted demand that the you know you did the the mailings and you did the what's it called direct mail stuff.

For Ronald Reagan which helped them become president but didn't wasn't he a big spender with Star Wars -- defense spending he wasn't he a big spending Republican.

Well no.

Maybe he wasn't.

Did did he walk on water and do everything right -- but but it's -- to spend money if you do it intelligently.

For a good.

Restart.

Or was intelligent she didn't help bring down the Soviet Union and that can be that once and it's very presence allowed one -- Washington the father of this country Abraham Lincoln freed displaced Ronald Reagan won the Cold -- defeated communism.

And that's a pretty good use of -- money.

Well listen my manager next book coming out and -- -- -- actually have got to when you could never ever guess sort of writing about one takeover Republican -- in which you could I guess I'm doing you know but I'm writing one.

Or nutrition and health.

Called let alone.

How conservatives can -- liberals.

Didn't really -- but of course I hope they're better reason and.

We'll have -- -- -- -- anti polygamy here a little bit of nugget on that but how can conservative had little if it.

Well up I hope everybody reads this but you know I'm.

Dissident to lifestyle thing it's mostly a lot of fruits investment -- -- 1011 certain -- -- candidates.

Very little red meat not a seafood.

You know a lot of you know.

Things that are good and healthy for -- organics.

Why isn't a left right lines and left for I think.

It up so book hopefully I would tell -- and I says you got a ball and I created aren't sir thank you so much for your time served well in Asia that is -- degree -- conservative HQ dot com.
