He is now the new report suggesting there are two people missing and that oil platform fire we told you about.

At the beginning of our -- just breaking now we have on the phone with us Coast Guard captain -- negotiate.

I captain what can you tell us about this fire.

Well good -- and about 9 o'clock this morning the Coast Guard received a report -- the fire on a platform about twenty miles south to grand isle Louisiana.

The report that we haven't had 28 people were on board.

And after the fire occurred commercial helicopters evacuated.

Individuals -- on that platform.

To a nearby platforms so we're still working on full accountability for the people that were there.

Weeks we have heard reports -- -- being flown to the hospital and two.

Being missing or as you know when -- it comes up reports to being dad can you confirm any of that press.

44 individuals have been for the west Jefferson hospital for injuries.

You know we've we've we've gotten conflicting reports about two dead about two missing.

And so were we were really not sure until we get confirmation on the facts -- that.

And in the fire still burning by the way I mean -- -- is a fire outdoors and still an active scene if you will.

Good question just got a confirmation from our Coast Guard boats -- There's no visible fire on the platform there's a little bit of smoke but not nearly as much that that was -- there before.

And if there -- three vessels.

Three commercial boats that are still pumping water onto the platform so it seems like the fire's -- nearly out.
