At least 75 rockets were fired into Israel three of them targeting the city of Tel Aviv all of those intercepted by the missile defense system.

It's worth noting though that the shrapnel from -- one of those intercepted rockets.

Fell to the aground and we've -- it actually hit a car there were no serious injuries.

But seven Israelis today were injured because of the rocket fired dozens more had to be treated.

For shock and there was a relentless barrage earlier today in southern Israel one city in particular.

Who was hammered there were about fifteen rocket attacks in the very short period of time.

We talked to the military police spokesman here.

He said that he believes it's very possible the militants are trying to fire rockets and very quick succession to try and overwhelm the iron dome system listen to what he had to say.

What we've seen today is taking place is that there are more significant rockets that a flying in terms of numbers and sequences.

The coming in -- five at a time and not just randomly wanted to hear and that whatever the southern region.

But five and five again and that we had ten rockets actually fighting to the city of -- don't.

The consequences can be very serious this is extremely heavy it can be deadly.

The troops continue to mass near the border we've seen a great deal of activity in fact many of the border roads are now completely sealed off.

As for the Israeli defense forces they are continuing their air strikes there have been more than 100 airstrikes.

Just the last 24 hours they continue to target the rocket launching sights the rockets themselves.

They're also going after the militants.

Israel says it was targeting a mastermind of of rocket technology when it targeted the home.

Of of a militant the consequence of that according to the Palestinians.

Is that eleven civilians they say died including five women.

And four children very difficult to ascertain precisely what is going down on the ground but.

Israel continuing to make plans for a possible ground incursion.
