Well it's been more than seven months since anyone has seen or heard from missing Fort Bragg soldier 23 year old Kelly -- Have friends say that she disappeared one night last April after leaving a bar in North Carolina and now some newly discovered remains.

-- raising some new questions about her disappearance joining us now.

-- sister Olivia Cox and her brother Matt -- first of all I want to thank you so much for joining us this morning.

-- -- -- So this latest development there have been some remains that were discovered in the eastern training area of Fort Bragg.

How do you feel -- I'll start with you about this latest developments.

And that -- can possibly.

Be the remains of your sister.

To an extent there's relief to finally have answers.

But -- the same time nothing is confirmed so you can't fly eggs in the basket.

-- paddy field.

Kind of the same -- you know it's.

It's always one of those questions whether it's you know it's going to be her not so -- have to wait to see if it's confirmed or not.

A -- at Thanksgiving is tomorrow and what will it be like there for the family that it Kelly is not there also understand her birthday is coming up saying when -- her birthday.

Two days after Christmas is -- right back.

Senate tomorrow and Thanksgiving -- feel going into that.

You know spending the holidays without Kelly and it doesn't feel right you know we -- of my son's birthday back in opposite.

And we're missing a part of our families and Kelly and so it's extremely difficult.

Matt what about you.

I mean it's just really hard you know I have a five month old -- renowned.

I'm sure she'd love to hear her hands so man -- still holding -- -- -- answers.

-- always followers.

Now Olivia wanna ask you about this year your sister she was last seen it with the gentleman his name is Nicholas coal Bert.

And he was working at that that karaoke bar that she was that that night she'd gone and she thanks -- karaoke enjoyed her evening.

He says -- he dropped her off the night she disappeared outside of her neighborhood drove her home you then received a text from your sister.

But you say the timing doesn't add up tell me about the text and tell me what doesn't add up about that.

That I assurances it's week eight of a mile from her house and the text messages from it -- time this essentially in apartheid time she received her that she got home.

It's a forty minute window it doesn't it forty minutes -- claim -- mile.

I mean literally you could walk the distance and last compartments.

And so anyway.

That's why don't believe them and so Matt do you think that the Hulbert is responsible for Kelly's disappearance.

-- without a doubt.

I mean his illustrious hemisphere and with his past.

You know and -- stupid not to think otherwise Ehrlich and his story doesn't advance.

So do you think that the investigators could have done more at this point.

I think they're doing everything.

As quickly and as efficiently as possible they don't wanna go to quickly and miss something or possibly jeopardize anything I think did a good job.

You know I have to -- -- here but just quickly.

I want -- giving opportunity say final word about your sister what do you miss the most about her what do you remember most about her she was a combat medic.

With the 44 medical brigade want to get that in there as well.

-- -- -- everything about it just a minute talk -- every day text message or caller.

You know my son is assignments what you know listen to -- -- and -- -- video staff employees.

She's just -- CNN smile and having her around to just make us all laughing goof -- whether.

Well all of our prayers are certainly with you and you know hopefully this all turn around.

Thank you so much for joining us that we definitely appreciate -- on this day.

-- available for having us of course.

For more on the investigation let's turn out of Rod Wheeler he's a former DC homicide detective and Fox News contributor as well thank you for joining us.

Good morning -- so it's been more than seven months of what do you think -- investigators can discover at this point if the remains are in fact Kelly's.

Well the first thing -- -- -- wanna say I think the family I applaud the family for keeping this story in the media let me tell you that's the best way that they can bring -- home.

Is by keeping the story out there so I applaud the -- for that.

Not only that but that really -- the police department a lot because.

You know a lot of the work that the family is doing is really helping the department because -- have to go out and do that leg work now as far as the remains are concerned it's very early as a matter of fact it's too early to make any kind of -- speculation.

In terms of whether or not the remains our colleagues but what I can tell you is that if the remains are -- It will in fact get the fan at least some degree of closure but they really won't get final closer until that person responsible for abducting -- taking away -- brought to justice.

Yet at this point they can't even determine if they are in fact human remains so definitely early in all this windy think we will know that when can we expect to determine.

Whether or not they're human whether or not they -- they are her.

Right it's gonna take awhile I have -- real quickly let me tell you on the viewers why because -- time we find remains as badly decomposed obviously has been out in the elements the weather may even buried underground.

The police hasn't -- exactly how they found it remains so.

I think it could take up to thirty to maybe even 45 days before we learn any thing specific in terms of who or what the remains are okay Rod Wheeler thank you very much for joining us with your insight.
