Fox News alert we are looking live at the dark border between Israel and Gaza and announcements moments ago about a cease fire deal.

That demands Hamas stop launching rockets into Israel.

While the Israelis call an -- -- to air strikes on the Gaza Strip.

But from what we're seeing right now this couldn't get a little uglier before it gets a little better.

And that's where we begin this hour of America live welcome everyone I'm Megyn Kelly.

We are watching and waiting with a cease fire expected to take effect within the hour 2 PM eastern time.

It follows days of relentless rocket attacks by Hamas and the bus talking just this morning in the city of Tel Aviv.

But at this moment we are getting reports of rockets.

Flying from Gaza into Israel.

Let's get right to -- -- -- -- live in southern Israel near the Gaza border and we went.

-- just about the past fifteen minutes we had five rockets fly out of the Gaza Strip towards the town of their Shattuck.

In at least one was a direct hit we are certainly farther along towards a cease fire tonight and when we talked last night.

Everything fell apart in the wheels came off there has been an announcement not only to cease fire -- of a broader agreement between Hamas and Israel here's how it breaks down.

The Israelis the number one thing they wanted was an end the rockets -- Hamas says that they will end the rockets that's the very key thing for the Israelis the Israelis.

And they're targeting killers of members of Hamas.

Islamic Jihad and other organization inside.

-- Gaza Strip Egypt is being held responsible by the United States in the entire world.

For the rockets coming out of the Gaza Strip if there are any another point to make is that there is going to be a cessation or at least -- -- make an attempt to stop the weapons smuggling it is coming.

From.

Egypt into the Gaza Strip if you look at us live there's -- Faint glow that was just a rocket interceptor that went -- I think they glow is now burned out but we are certainly not at the point.

Of a cease fire yet that will come.

In about 58 minutes -- you just heard the boom from that rocket interception.

Overhead.

Of the Gaza Strip here's what to look for in the next 58 minutes and that's about all we can talk about right now.

Is that there's going to be heavy fire as we traditionally -- before a cease fire takes effect where everyone lights off as many rounds is making any Israelis have been hitting a number of targets behind me.

In the Gaza Strip and then going forward there will be have been day or so 1224 hours.

-- to take a fact that takes awhile for everyone to get the memo evidently to stop firing this is a big moment.

For Egyptian president Mohamed -- remember just a couple of years ago he was an Egyptian prison he was a member of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood.

Today he held a press conference at the United States secretary of state announcing a deal he brokered.

And not only that President Obama but also prime minister Netanyahu have talked about the key Egyptian role and president -- -- role.

-- it's the only other wild card here going forward is the Iranian backed group specifically Islamic Jihad.

And the popular resistance committees inside Gaza Hamas does not necessarily control all of them.

And there's a reasonable chance making that Iran is in -- -- pressure on those two groups to try to break this cease fire or at least try to put on tender hooks for a little while.

To flex their muscles with the Israelis -- While -- -- think you live with the breaking news will be back to him as the show progresses.
