-- -- turning 23 minutes past the hour more than three months ago.

Three month old Joey was severely injured when he was brutally tossed out of a moving car.

He's been able to walk and run again against all odds and on this holiday we give.

Much much much thanks to this miracle popping up getting choked up firing right now.

Joining us from the veterinary medical center of Long Island is Jolie's new mom doctor Linda Loudon and the star man of the hour himself -- -- for folks that don't know the story of Joey on this Thanksgiving -- please remind them exactly what happened.

He must have put in garbage bag close to the bag and thrown from a moving car.

And good samaritan heard -- crying.

When she pulled up to a a stop sign.

Opened the bag and found this little puppy and -- he came to us in really bad -- what -- his injuries he had three fractured vertebrae in his neck.

And -- shock and thoracic trauma.

And his paralyzed in all four limbs and we didn't think he'd never walk again.

And it's it's America seemingly is doing great how is it today -- fantastic and as you know the like the city that we need to.

I'm crazy about this city you know -- -- every little check down the folks that did this is now my haven't heard any updates from SP CA and I know they're still working on.

I mean is it in situations like this because you're you know you're a doctor in situations like -- -- do you ever find these people.

Sometimes sometimes -- -- one that was a few years ago where he sets.

The -- pimple on fire them for actually he didn't make it that was awful.

They found him -- turn demand because of the rewards.

Physically obviously it's amazing that he's recovered but mentally he seems so -- you would think it dog it was treated that way would be very aggressive towards anyone and not want to trust yeah how -- yes let's -- at least nervous around people but he -- -- really lovable dog he's got a great personality.

He's wonderful as my two year olds you know they play all day I'm sure there -- people out there watching this guy can't all the Kenyan doctor are you just keeping an attempt rarely and is now I have I have this my guy couldn't let him go after everything -- -- -- and unfortunately.

There are other stories like Joseph always and -- set up a nonprofit that is.

Healing.

Haven animal fund dot -- And what is that designed to do that's -- to help injured and sick animals and that either their owners can afford -- veterinary care that they need.

Or there's stray animals that come into veterinary clinic that really need care.

And there has to -- money somewhere to provide that just like for -- you know thank goodness that.

Media helped him and get the care he needed because it it was -- financially and a big deal we see.

Does does.

Those commercials that you know everybody that I know that -- up freaks out of retirements in the Sara McLaughlin at -- -- That they're so heartbreaking and it you know.

What -- what can people do if you know if you're in -- neighborhood -- you see people who are are are putting their dogs or animals and Carol what can you do called the police.
