Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox sixteen weather center with your forecast for the northeast an awesome portions of the great -- And today's going to be a relatively chilly day out we have temperatures widespread in the thirties and even just -- -- for some areas like over -- northern portions of the state of -- where high temperature in caribou.

Only forecast the 28 degrees and twenty ninth career high temperature in -- city of Marquette -- some of those big cities on nine and five quarter not only too far off.

But less typical this time of the year 44 -- high near city and 44.

Over in the city of Washington DC as we head west -- Minneapolis looking at a high temperature at 36 degrees so that's actually a little bit warmer now you are dealing with yesterday -- -- with temperatures widespread in the teens teens early this morning in Minneapolis.

Now as far as activity goes in precipitation we are gonna have a pretty active day across portions.

-- new England and also for the arc toward the south across portions of the mid Atlantic with areas of rain areas of snow -- -- -- -- Mixing in between its UN we're not really expecting significant accumulations so that's a good news that the storm system.

It's a pretty weak system doesn't have a lot of moisture and is going to be a quick movers -- to be in -- out.

Of the northeast basically by early Wednesday morning you could see that snow already coming down across portions of Ohio the -- West Virginia Pennsylvania and even already into portions.

Of New England some of the higher.

Basically higher elevations will be looking -- more significant snowfall accumulations.

About a half a -- the lowered down just two to four inches forecast anywhere between West Virginia and also into portions of northwestern Jersey.

Big cities and I'm not a five quarter like New York City Philadelphia.

And you know for the north in Boston we're not really expecting to -- much accumulation is any at all meet -- about an inch or two.

And some of -- grassy areas especially not really expecting to see a whole lot about accumulating.

Across the roadways to take a look at basically already Wednesday morning the storm is gone behind -- we are gonna have sunshine.

And also dry conditions -- exception will be of course so areas right off the leaks.

We're off Lake Ontario we're -- -- -- -- that lake effect snow firing up once again -- a little bit of it a little lasso.

Across portions or areas downwind of Lake -- across portions of -- -- looking at some lake effect snow possible behind this storm system otherwise.

A relatively quiet stretch of weather as we head into Wednesday and Thursday for both the Great Lakes and also the northeast.
