Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- and we now from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the southwest.

And what are we seeing a return to very unsettled -- very stormy conditions -- a processing of California especially in northern portions.

-- -- eight Reno your high temperature today at 5562.

Over in San Francisco and low to mid sixties.

Across Southern California as well including -- in Los Angeles and also in San Diego.

As we had a wet eastbound actually we do have a bit of a rising temperatures.

In comparison to what we've been seeing over the last couple of days over in Denver 59 for a high temperatures today back into the sixties in the -- -- -- talk.

And little eighties in Phoenix and also in Tucson across southern parts of the -- Of Arizona so taking a look at the satellite radar picture we're already starting to see that heavy rain moving -- -- portions of northern California.

Expect -- -- to also be picking up with this storm system.

-- off towards the east so east of -- frontal system we're going to be seeing a rise in temperatures not just today but also over the next couple of days.

Because a stormy weather pattern out here across California is forecast to continue to remain in place.

Not just today but even as we -- into your Thursday as to take a look at the -- radar.

And this scene is a case as we head into your Friday and into the weekend some spots could pick up significant amounts of rainfall anywhere between four to eight inches of rain.

Locally higher amounts will be possible especially as we into the weekend some -- the higher elevations of the mountains could be seeing some snowfall but that's really going to be very high up.

Mostly lower elevations of the mountainous range here in the Sierra Nevada could be looking at just basically just rain.

And that could be adding to the flooding concerns -- -- gonna get that runoff from some of those mountains and you can be -- actually or graphic listing on some of those mountains.

And even additional rainfall amounts between twelve to final inches out there across portions again of the -- so that's another huge concern.

-- please be careful out here we do any traveling not just today but also over the next couple of days.

And again looking at a flooding concern there are a number of flood watches in effect across northern parts the -- of California so again very stormy conditions over the next several days.

East of the system though very quiet conditions for the Rockies now are looking up much in the way of precipitation here -- -- wrap up the work week.

Have agreed -- everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox action -- senator.
