You'd think president -- would call the house and senate leaders and asked them to the Oval Office but apparently something is wrong with the White House -- he's trying to outsource his job -- take a look.

I'm asking Americans all across the country to make your voice heard.

To all members of congress what a 2000 dollar tax hike would mean to you.

Call your members of congress write them an email.

Posted on their FaceBook walls.

You can tweet it using the hash tag it might to -- Why doesn't the president just pick up the phone call speaker Boehner senator Harry Reid -- -- we asked to do their job to get them together isn't that why we sort of pay them democratic senator Bob Casey is the chairman of the joint economic committee judges and -- -- Credited to do with the thank you.

Tape -- say we need to cut more spending but we need to do so any Smart.

Way that keeps our economy -- what's a Smart way.

Well up to it and not Smart way to do it is to have to cut medical research Chicago law enforcement a lot of these.

Proposals over the -- appears by the Republicans on the house and the senate.

Make those kinds of cuts that doesn't make any sense it was a Smart way forward a Smart ways to cut spending like we did in 2011.

We came together.

In the debate about the debt ceiling to reduce spending by more than 900 billion dollars almost a trillion dollars.

-- Democrats Republicans came to go to work together but the problem here is right now.

Is that we have an opportunity right now.

In the house should do this to pass.

The tax cut that we passed in the senate.

Do you take care of making sure that middle income families.

Have their tax rates in place you can settle that question as soon as the house passed -- -- president -- and a lot and we get to the mother shot.

Let me just accept -- -- -- SI understand it if that is done if if let's say that the the tax rates only -- those who make 250000 dollars or more -- what I am told that the amount of revenue for that would satisfy -- for the federal government for about eight days is is that about right -- present.

-- -- -- I don't know that that number's accurate well let's -- ten -- I'll say this if we do that if we have if we have middle income tax rates stay where they are now.

Which they should I think hitting both parties agree to pass the senate and hard things -- put us I can do that it didn't disappoint is trying to drink as if we do that we're gonna have the middle class will have.

Certainly not just going the policies and but the new year number one.

Number two then you can have a debate about the top 2%.

Whether -- tax -- should go up or down I think that one of them one of the ways you get.

-- deficit reduction but one of the ways you get to an agreement here is to make sure that we have some new revenue in addition to spending -- Here's -- history is why I asked about the tax because if you wanna pay eight or ten days.

That if the -- the revenue visit I'm not sure what the point is because structurally haven't changed destruction we still listen to the same -- spending.

The economy is still owes much trouble and people who -- make that a lot of money do contribute a lot to job growth in this country and -- -- by efforts to nose to spite your face so.

I'm not so sure it's only ten days why you want that revenue -- why would rather leave that revenue in the system hoping to generate more job.

Because you need that you need some revenue I'm not saying that these we -- doesn't regret those -- wrapped up -- says if the race and up on the top 2% on us and that's enough revenue.

To do with the long term fiscal problems you know but it's is part of the -- still what does it do.

What if it gives you some revenue of eight I think that's the best thing we can do right now -- Is to make sure -- middle income families have that certainty because they're going to grow the economy is something tough to.

Here's a thought if -- -- focusing and here's another promise if you only focus on them on the middle class are the ones who make ground when it is you also are are neglecting the very poor people who need who actually knew a lot of help.

And as and as they expand because they're not getting the help because in that they need is that -- not expanding entitlements that's another probably half.

He here's how you help everybody I believe that not all of them of those -- in the middle is to make sure the economy's growing.

The best way to do that is to make sure that we put in this put in place strategies that we have already -- The payroll tax cut we should re institute for this year that created 400000 jobs just just sister that's number one number two.

And that's that was leader on that the senate and clearly got it done we should do it again secondly we should have a tax credit.

For employers from the -- should be an incentive.

For harm we've got to take steps and I think there's broad agreement on this to grow the economy that's one of the best ways to do the revenue did did you go to residue of the deficit.

You disagree that how would that people who make more than two -- -- just Dodgers aren't job creators.

Now that the good all kinds of people create I don't I.

We did hi I have I find -- and finally -- raising the taxes -- paid for like you know -- hundred days or 200 days.

But for eight days it is the risk of getting eight days of funding of our tent is it really worth the risk of that then they might hurt the job creation there was a -- I I think that the officials over time that the the engine of the economy is is a middle class.

If we keep their rates the same if we cut their payroll taxes if we give incentives to grow the economy -- army veteran I think there are a lot of people.

With tremendous wealth.

That understand that we have not only deficit -- -- long term debt problem.

Once I talked to Pennsylvania are ready willing and able to contribute they say to us you've that you guys have to work together.

I'll be I'll be glad to pitch in to reduce yes and I think you guys work together and if you're reduced I don't think we got to do vote.

I think a lot more people might annually but they see so much unbelievable waste and fraud and the government.

That's a little hard to wanna pay another dime when your attention really isn't on waste and fraud and is -- -- the dumbest group.

With waste and fraud and it's like there's no -- part of the culture really a -- is not just this spending culture.

It's a waste and fraud culture -- guys don't even look in their own backyard what what.

I was the auditor general Pennsylvania three years I was a lot sort of rooted out a lot of waste -- -- -- where -- that this will absolutely there is and it's been under Democrats and Republicans well that's one thing we've got to do but in order to build.

What we need to know that there what's that.

So I think there should show us and is a good think the American people how you really care.

I'll -- were concerned the jail almost every year every couple of years they have to have produced a report that so we can save between 10200 billion dollars let's say the GAO is way off.

If we could say fifty billion -- Would you report on my desk and OK you guys ignored every single year you totally ignored -- prisoner Tom Coburn is it's on both parties.

And it was terrible Estes Chris look I.

Here's what I think the EU need to.

Some revenue from from upper income folks to thus allowing -- you do need -- -- waste -- -- you have to grow the economy for not growing the economy.

None of these -- -- reduction strategies really work and over time.

We can come together and and I know we can do -- we did on discretionary spending.

It's very tough a lot of cuts we can do it in a lot of ways to bring the parties the other number one thing -- her when I was running this year.

You guys have to work together and you've got to do something about creating jobs but nothing else came close to that.
