Your first full length holiday album yes white Christmas is right here I think with that there isn't that how beautiful it right there and the desert what a great what do you just bring out that little drop down on me.

Every day at a photo shoot hilarious it was actually a hundred degrees that day so I really I like.

You know be like getting the Christmas vibes going right you know it's complete opposite of what's going on and -- -- no snow here but it's called yes it is cold it.

This ankle -- -- -- so let's talk about making the -- -- you know you have -- the success of the American Idol I guess we've been.

Writing songs singing songs for a long time and -- tell us about you know just one year career where start.

I mean I -- writing.

Songs and long before idol you know I was just kind of struggling artists are starving artist singer songwriter.

Cutting hair to my bathroom I was -- nanny assuming everything I could just to sustain the -- you know it's just a hard.

You go through a -- and then I I did idol thing and not -- Kind of blew my mind anyway so much farther than I could have even imagine -- and then.

Of course that open up the doors and it's all about just staying relevant after the show because you Aniston still like a rotating cast you know.

-- practice really stand out people's minds and for me it's just all been about.

Writing songs and going out performing connecting the stands.

And then I did some other stuff you know I did a movie -- which is on fox -- change of plans and I did.

I have an online web series called the -- a -- to show our glasses and -- So yeah I just keep it going and released by records I had band last -- -- -- -- -- the key is just not quitting just keep on and and loving what you do because it is kind of hard path if you love it then.

You know if it's here if people are listening and they -- and and you're able to make a living at it that's been icing on the cake and you know.

So good to play -- -- every plane.

I had to be able to connect the audience -- is at people you know saying that alerts at imagining that I could only imagine that's kind of the coolest thing ever now and I had a baby to read.

I side project but sees -- -- -- has been a really awful last couple years where you look.

I think it -- Day and age -- the tools are just so easy and it's not about an it is always nice to have like official music video that sometimes people love to some minutes early and -- And not overly -- -- it's just really meal and Christmas card I think is this the song you're talking about.

Which is -- really personal song to me you know I just not right justice it's out of my piano and just.

Make a simple video that may end and no you know -- -- you know it's a flashy -- registry from the heart really.

That's also when we're gonna hear a little bit of it and we're gonna hear some from your album.

What made you decide to do it Christmas out.

Well I mean I just hadn't -- I had done a couple Christmas songs.

Like -- attorney.

A couple of years back and I just I boys wanna do Christmas record but -- I thought it was really.

Simon at the challenge right because that you you know wanna obviously these songs that are like classics people being listening to for ages and that's of people -- -- -- But it you want to put your own.

You know you make your own interpretation -- and -- that's original and yes so keep the integrity -- it -- that you know.

Again at the east you keep it classic so.

But it was really fun and execute stand of Christmas in my house -- up -- -- today Christmas music -- like July I don't stop -- Christmas was like always playing right.

I like our parents music choices aren't too by the way but again Carol king Fleetwood Mac that's -- you grew up listening yeah most of us did.

And it's it's a wonderful influence yes so I can't wait to hear because we're gonna put children and studio.
