When he -- on the night of November 14 and it was freezing cold.

And it was an act of kindness that was captured by a photographer a woman from Arizona who ironically also works in the sheriff's department -- that.

Efficient does.

When this had -- mountain it's my friend takes me with a picture.

Somebody from under Cheney put it on her FaceBook she did and -- sent it to the police department they put on FaceBook and that's when it became big deal.

And die and you I want to immediately I had to talk to adjust to say thank you that I have this picture for the the rest my career.

And -- in the in touch with her and mean Jennifer actually best friends -- it's fantastic.

Well it is so that was.

Apparently she was about it she noticed the guy because he was out -- -- really cold night from the homeless guy with no shoes on and she was approaching him.

When you walk up with the boots you and you told us and our live show that one of the reasons you even notice the guy because there are a lot of homeless people out there.

Was he didn't have any -- -- didn't.

People were laughing at -- elegant guy no no shoes or socks but didn't you also have like -- beat calluses on its feet or so we can -- House is what -- in my -- and you know it does is so is his -- reduce use upsetting -- city he had never probably had boots -- boots -- -- his words to me you know when -- had -- and initially had offered to buy socks and she said no thank you off -- even had a pair of shoes.

And that's when I -- you -- this is unacceptable.

And I ran two blocks down to India to the issue sooner than you in the -- Can you never Carson knew that anyone was gonna capture this -- You know -- -- speaking a lot the last couple days about who should be the time person of the year times magazine -- I'd like to nominate you.

Hunt because these are the kinds of acts of kindness especially during this time of the year when we're thinking about Christmas -- -- That you if you didn't know anyone was -- chronicle this picture.

I had no idea I looked up once laws putting shoes on -- and there was nobody around and it was quick look and I nonetheless you know that some into the picture and it was a surprising when I first seen in online.

But on my your parents -- tell you don't -- your parents might say sounds tell me grownup that your actions speak louder than your -- -- -- that to me I'm attitude have.

You're living proof -- that -- okay if I saw a homeless guy out on the street I don't know that my first include with -- I don't know that my first inclination would be you know by some -- -- might be I gonna get you somewhere where it's warm.

Well a lot of people listen -- that and that was.

The first thing I thought -- I was waitress health here it's cold out in the cement is even colder.

And so the first thing -- I want to buy him I need to get him something on his feet.

And after that I was gonna worry about you know getting him to go somewhere.

In the police department if we wanna help the homeless and they want to be helped we can of the lesbian -- -- -- there's nothing we can do honestly feel it's.

Severe to their health -- and so you ran into blocks down to -- Skechers and you told the guy historian you would.

You were vine hundred dollar boots and the guy gave you mean employee discount you.

Is it true that you carry the receipt with you right now I can either see when I have -- my -- that's.

-- I usually always keep that keep in line and you keep it for what reason.

It's important to me just because you don't like anybody else you know you have tough days.

And many of those tough days yet something without as a reminder that you know some people have it worse than you.

And you pull out and it's just.

You think you think for forty have.

And so and now you -- won't be able to find this man and you try.

But as of now you don't know where -- -- -- now he's you know nobody's found yet a few people want me until them I'm definitely one of them.

I'd love -- -- again but be imminent fund.

In the meantime you have trouble at the precinct house because what's happening with the.

Well.

Pretty shafted by everybody a pair of boots and -- he's -- economically.

So long because the phone is ringing off people wanna talk to you they wanna say thank you -- that that that's the most surprising thing and we didn't calls from all over the place and it's it's great you know that people have taken to the story so much -- -- -- they wanna get up there and did -- helping helping pardons just it's one of the great things that I can look back to the story really into it.

So are you out 75 bucks did anybody give you the money to make a foreigner instead I it's hard to give a -- money here in New York City yet.

And now that's that's absolutely unacceptable.

You know nobody is offered in obviously wouldn't take it it's just I wasn't about the money that night it was just about how to -- them.

-- great thank you I appreciate the time -- it.

I mean for all that cops do police officers and temperature own life in jeopardy on a daily basis and to see the fact that you helped somebody out.

What a role model for our kids to look up to a senate during the broadcast show but.

They look up to athletes and celebrities and they shouldn't continue thank you I appreciate that means so much.
