-- friend and colleague Ellen Ratner who is doing today is why is -- yeah see I am there's a lot of -- -- And -- bring an alternate I'm learning you're also on news watch Montes right at the end of what do you what little song hey well have for I have is as nice Susan -- situation in -- first of all I'm a limb but I was never in favor of Susan Rice to begin I just got to.
Give you that having her qualifications.
For -- the job she holds now well -- she was sort of a protege of Merrill Madeleine Albright at 32 years old she ran Africa.
And the Africa desk at the State Department.
So that sort of propelled her she supposedly did a great job there even know a lot of people in Africa and I go every job weeks you do not like car so we'll go -- that's a hole that we can do a whole shot.
But essentially what happened is that you know.
A lot of people went after the Bush Administration in their ties to Enron Hal Burton.
-- -- -- those kinds of threat organization corporate ownership that's chuckle -- -- how come.
Until this last a couple of days.
No one looked into the holding of Susan Rice despite the fact that is public information she had to file something she's like one of the richest people.
In the in the Obama cabinet fiction married -- man who has inherited wealth.
And they own a quite amid a stock in trans Canada.
Trans Canada aren't those the pipeline people.
Aren't those who she would be in charge and at the State Department making -- yeah -- decision.
And she never put in a blind trust.
And and there she is an ambassador and that what's interesting.
Okay that only came out last two days but everybody went after.
The bush -- For Enron and all that but today than mainstream media kept their -- knows.
I don't have the Susan -- stuff so that's -- bias going on our unbiased so there's a race.
How does that figure in and wolf the fact that they brought it up now -- not earlier how elusive figure when Mueller is it was brought up now is because it was sort of leaked.
-- -- -- believe it or not the very lefty press on this.
Who originally was are supporting her and then they started to look into this because some of the though watchdog groups.
Starts domain and they are see her as an appropriate secretary of staying.
Candidate weld is not -- the economy -- I mean we look at these filings are all there in the days of investigative reporter people used to be there.
And he's just saying hey so and so has this filing but now.
They just.
Overlooked debt overshadowed it and it's pretty -- Obama administration knew.
Well it's in the final report you gotta have somebody that looks at those filing reports -- maybe that you hopefully.
That's the question okay facts and also you wanted to talk about it.
Again and what you believed to be -- Unequal treatment that's right so.
Again senators Graham and -- McCain have been gotten a lot of heat for opposing Susan Rice.
But but the other question is and and some of the flip flops from.
The Obama of from the certainly from -- McCain and and this President Bush 43.
Well how come nobody's looked at the flip flops.
The Obama administration.
And looking at his opposition to raising the debt ceiling.
And opposing.
John Roberts.
Add to the Supreme Court at center.
So why do you think that -- And people you know it's interesting because I am and you know I'm a lefty who's highly critical.
Both.
At the White House that's irregular cut -- -- -- so I'm pretty critical of a lot of that and I it is astounding to me when I say to somebody well.
You know lack I am not a big person that's in favor of Condoleezza Rice.
I go to Africa on the left even after they say all you can't criticize the Obama mystery why can't -- That's freedom of the press -- And -- how you see it and I can't see -- astounds me -- the press and journalists should not be ideologues.
You know I'll never forget a -- a journalist -- drivers in the White House don't do anybody's -- His decision do that you lose your credibility as a journalist.
That those of the old fashioned kind of journal yeah I guess out you know -- so those are two big bashes -- you -- nobody really got hurt like I appreciate it.
Will continue to see you don't see any changes in either of those you know well I'm would be if the Obama administration's nominate Susan Rice.
The -- face tells a thousand rights we will tune into news watch.
Which is on this weekend's.
Penalties -- -- time on this weekend our friend Jon Scott.
We -- John 230 and 1130 on Saturday is you'll see -- and all your favorites there.
