Joining me now -- at city editor in chief rotten tomatoes dot com -- went to see Lincoln -- I have.

I think so how did you like it little long.

Yeah it is a little long.

And it's I wouldn't say that it's particularly the most exciting film but you know I think the performances were pretty good and it's very informative if nothing else.

I thought -- Daniel Day-Lewis is probably -- get a nomination for best actor.

But -- I agree with -- it does run along and a little -- -- starts -- we thought it was phenomenal -- Sally Field all the actors in a great great job no doubt about it but you know what I also -- that best actor category is the sessions.

Oh yeah I agree with you I think that we're gonna see.

Not only that will probably see -- best actress or best supporting actress.

Nomination for Helen hunt for that -- while I was just.

After they put her in the supporting actress category in the nominations my goodness if she didn't have a lead role -- I'm so surprised.

You'd -- to tell yeah we may you know that go ahead.

That may change when we gets a nod to the Oscar race.

You know depending on how she guys you know it is they might be debated an easier time there's a lot of strategy involved -- -- -- -- an easier time.

Than competing with some of the other actresses that are going to be up for best actress this year.

Tell me what else here are enjoying at the moment and what you want to see this weekend.

You know I seen killing them softly which is the biggest released this week in the new Brad Pitt movie.

And I liked that a lot it's -- really great cast James Gandolfini -- Leona.

Richard Jenkins.

And a -- relative newcomer guy by the name -- student Mary.

Please one of a pair of two -- -- that knock over a mob run part poker game.

And so of course mobsters get brought in to kind of clean everything up it and yeah.

The -- these guys down.

I like this a lot.

It is kind of a nasty ugly little film I mean that in a good way.

But it's brutal.

It it doesn't quite gel together I think the way it should.

But most -- critics like it it's in the high seventies on our tomato meter we're calling it certified fresh so you know if you woman.

Kind of a nasty vile little gangster movie this weekend this is probably the when you're gonna -- so why not and then you have a recommendation for video on demand if there's bad weather and you've got to stick it out at home.

Yet you know there's a movie universal soldier day of reckoning.

Which reunites John caught -- again -- Dolph Lundgren now believe it or not this is the seventh movie of this franchise.

They seem to be relatively inexpensive to make -- they do really well overseas.

This movie has gone and I straight out direct to video -- -- -- if you define it but.

It's also on video on demand and you know the score is.

Both in the high fifties on our site which is rotten but if you put that in perspective it's actually a better score than any of these movies have gotten before this franchise.

You know the actions pretty great it really is Jeanne Claude van -- -- -- Really just beating the heck out of a bunch of people which is really kind of what -- expecting to see here.

And on that level it delivers so you want to see them.

You know courtesy -- crazy old style eighties style action movie you might really like that's -- sounds like we'll take an action adventure delivery tomatoes wow.

What are your other -- to made OPEC's.

Well you know there's a lot of movies that are out right now that I definitely recommend catching in theaters while you still can't.

Life of pi is beautiful to see on the big screen it really has a spectacle of the best sense of the classic.

Use of that word that's doing very well with critics -- -- the eighties of the -- -- I would also recommend Argo.

I -- like Thelma about the troubled by it -- -- That's you know a few weeks old but it is definitely still in theaters and I think that that's a really good -- Another what I would recommend his rise in the guardians an animated film I think hardly anyone went and saw that last weekend and I was disappointed.

I really really enjoyed that -- -- it's not for very young kids but I think that the third fourth -- sat.

I will do fine in this and I thought it was a really fun holiday movie.

Can't wait it's a great weekend for the movies -- to watch Fox News Channel which is where -- -- as well great to see Matt thank you very much.
