What -- the big secret about the fiscal cliff.

Senator Jeff Sessions blasting -- Obama and congressional leaders for holding secret talks.

So what does he mean by secret senator sessions is a ranking member the Budget Committee he joins us so.

-- by secret.

Well -- that these talks are going on.

Condit apparently somebody who leaked part of what's been going on has some sort of -- from the white house on that seems to be unacceptable to the Republicans but.

Why don't we see the whole plan.

We -- a dozen American people know what it is the president would like to see as the final idea for America's financial future.

What is the instant thing about -- that I got some ways sometimes -- you know you wanted to seek it means you can speak candidly.

But the promise is that as as you've noted is that we've had so many secret meetings we've said that that we've -- that the -- we -- the super committee with the gang of six the gang of eight they've gotten the committees now and the promise it I want before the secret discussions about the fiscal -- if anyone of them had worked.

But we have now a history replete.

With failure so I actually now on -- -- I previously unopened.

You know.

First -- -- these secret talks violate the principle of American government they would be open every city county school board has -- meeting all us.

Not supposed to be meeting in secret.

But secondly the argument has been just like you said.

You see all the way to get things done.

Well we -- -- -- the camera we've gone two years and nothing's gotten down Soledad even work practically and it's certainly is contrary to good public policy.

What are we continue to accept failure and -- -- and don't mean don't the people working on -- having that -- the conclusion we've been talking about this for eighteen months.

And we -- all these little secret talks at the Blair house the White House the committees the gang of six the gang of eight -- -- it's not work so maybe we're gonna try something new like doing that on the open.

We've committed this process along -- Harry Reid refused to bring up a budget you're not talked about that before.

Why did he do so because he did not want a public.

Discussion.

And -- -- publicly lay out a firm plan for how to fix our future.

And it left us having to trying to desperately get dramatic deadlines try to reach an agreement.

Among out with a few people in meetings negotiator.

That's really not what the American -- -- just.

How it isn't even looking -- this democratic presence it would the last and Bill Clinton President Obama.

Almost on all this outsource is this to other people who outsource it to committees that -- stick senators to content.

-- -- -- everything he doesn't want to get his hands dirty.

Bill Clinton was in their slugging it out at every single and and we start the show with a clip from Newt Gingrich -- he said he spent 35 days face to face.

Why -- President Clinton really dig in this why -- -- and Bob this is his job.

That's a Gooden inside really it is -- outsourcing.

Amen well would not -- you run for the office.

If you -- don't want to be involved in directly engaged in the big issue around time.

-- big is -- about term Norfolk and all others.

His are unsustainable financial course.

And that's what we need to deal with American people need to be yet engaged in it and it's not happening.

-- he doesn't even -- Cindy wants -- into the applause we want to the heavy lifting the ugly stuff.

You know putting people.

On a road -- I think you're correct in that observation.

And we've not made any progress either.

And so we get is I -- Burress after this big election win.

2% driving through 3% election win so they've got a lot of confidence and they shouting the numbers even further than they were just a few months ago.

-- I think it endangers.

Our need to reach an accord so that we can -- Some of the big tax increases of this fiscal -- keep our country Ellis Island -- what I think's going to happen.

-- don't know.

I can't see.

In doing well for those of us who believe in -- frugal government.

-- focus on waste fraud and abuse -- the president.

During the campaign was talking about 800 billion new tax increases snatched twice at one point six and they're talking about new spending programs.

Not using this tax revenue to pay down debt so it is -- -- Putting wide disagreement.

Give it to -- as in the first 1800 billion an increased tax revenues it is eighty eighty billion dollars a year.

We could find -- of the GAO study we could find eighty billion dollars each year to of waste that no one in his right mind wants to pay for.

That would easily meet that that revenue demand no looks for waste I guess it's it's bizarre it's we got money there that we could at least -- -- -- -- Oh what we really need.

I couldn't agree more and I really believe deeply that every cabinet member of and needs to be a manager.

And there's so much could they can be done with strong leaders in these cabinet departments and sub -- department in sub cabinet departments.

To save money be more efficient be more productive.

For the American people before asking send more money.

So that's what we hear from Washington well we've gotten ourselves in this big debt problem American people send more money.

And not deal with the hard things -- congressional oversight we don't do a good job of that Tom Coburn is right he had very few wrong.

And this is a kind of thing we need to do more off.

Said I -- -- -- thank you.
