Sweet CBS news became the first news organization besides fox to ask President Obama who changed have been guys keep talking points and out.

It is is very dangerous of -- White House that journalists should suddenly start asking real questions.

-- whole issue of the gasoline has been to -- and tawdry.

-- we do not intend to stand.

-- ambassador Susan Rice who had nothing to do with the tragic.

-- guys the attack.

-- or its aftermath is made the scapegoat of the tragedy.

Because he relayed to the public they only have visual intelligence.

That was available through the administration at the time.

I have found no he -- Here in Washington.

Focused on.

And in some cases the obsessive focus on.

Ambassador rice's appearance on a series of Sunday shows several months ago is misplaced and his.

-- why did the administration put her out there as the spokesperson try to.

What is end up being misleading the world on what really happened and -- -- I believe.

The president should be able to pick his cabinet that was something egregious percent of -- -- -- -- second.

If what you say -- five consecutive shows that the Sunday was false because somebody gave you bad information.

Who's the person who gave -- the bad information I do think the White House.

-- -- Whether -- intelligence.

Whether -- enforcement.

-- whether it's just the bureaucracy.

I have found no he would.

All of the things that have they had.

Dislike about things that have gone on in this administration they have never called a male.

I'm qualified not.

So I think attacks on ambassador Susan Rice sexism.

Or something else former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin joins us pity me governor.

-- -- Governor yes I assume you've heard the -- clips -- we just played and there are some who think that investor Susan Rice -- not being criticized for her performance but for reasons rooted in sexism.

Your thoughts.

-- I guess they reached very far in an argument like that saying that this is what effect does this have to do with.

Gender or skin color or anything else -- have to -- with competency and Susan -- -- handle -- -- Olivia has been part and parcel of the Obama administration's handling of Libya which has been appalling and it's been atrocious and it's really indicative of lack of competency and truthful less and certainly transparency in the entire Obama administration it has nothing to do with her gender.

I fashion so we're curious way -- think there is sexism involved here.

And I think it's appalling and the sexism is this way is that.

For some reason because she's a woman she's given a pass that she's held to a lower standards which I -- I wanna be held that same standards.

Equal standards.

But there are some will let her take a pass for giving false information whether knowingly or unknowingly sitting on it for 73 days until about three days ago when she spoke to some US senate behind closed doors.

For some reason.

She gets up past -- that I don't get that I think that's actually -- need to women.

If that's why she's getting that past.

Yeah I agree and still to this day.

No apology no clear explanation to the people of America.

Adams say it pertains to what really happened there and may god see and again -- that in the illustration I think the prime example of the lack of transparency and honesty -- -- is them exemplified in the Obama administration very sad.

But 173 days it wasn't -- this week when you've won the inflation -- -- came out and incidentally I'm senators that comes with us last night.

Told us that that -- ambassador rice told her behind closed doors that she had.

Access to the presidential president's daily brief and so she had as much information as anybody.

Including that that this was al-Qaeda affiliated suspected even and they want but I ask you about represent Susan -- Eleanor Holmes Norton.

She says we do not -- and intend to stand by but investors Susan Rice would not be doing this tragic and -- attack.

Or its aftermath is made the scapegoat yet.

I'm what I'm surprised -- she's not clamoring for her own party for the administration to come on tell us.

What did -- know Wendy you know what and why why you train your feet about it so why weren't you mean she's missing the point -- that would do great.

She's missed the point is she's playing politics and you know she knows -- -- cover because of mainstream media is.

Going right along with her and that -- that suggestion that Obama and its closest people in the White House did nothing wrong and -- Garcia obviously they did for brave and innocent Americans were killed.

And this attack and still the American people are left with so many questions.

And and spokespersons for this incidents this tragedy are wanting to play politics instead of just being straight with the people.

Yes that's the and -- secretary.

Jay Carney is I think likewise.

If subtitle legitimate criticism I assume that he has access to information.

And for many days -- -- 73 days but they've done everything they could not to get the facts out if they want to -- this it's a simple way.

Just get the facts out quit trying to hide them and that's what you know that -- first -- whoever -- in the past except for CBS and fox on that.

Yeah exactly -- that that's the bottom line is you know just just be straight with the people that -- to our government is.

Is on the -- so that we can -- the people being served so that we can judge the decisions being made and Jay Carney though just so obstinate and so arrogance really in his replies and in his.

Exchanges with the media over this if if I remember of the media -- they're being talked to it.

At a school that -- Jay Carney does to them.

I B it quite offended and it would make me want to.

Be even better reporter and be a better investigator of what the facts truly are with the -- it tragedy.

But the very lowest ticket -- in Washington on both sides the out is though is that access you know you will lose access if you -- here you have the -- -- Yet use good judgment I'm not saying -- you you sell your soul to the administration but some people.

They -- so what so what -- you -- access to Obama you know white you know white people don't want to lose I adding that the American people don't care if a reporter isn't gonna have access to the Obama administration because what's coming back as a result of having that.

Privileged powerful access.

Is just lack of transparency it's more confusion it's more uncertainty and a flock is so why in the world -- a reporter.

He concerned about whether they're gonna get more of that fed to them those lies the -- certainty that.

The murky answers to so many questions being asked I wouldn't care about having that access that wouldn't you know what the result this.

I -- -- look look what's happened to suspend does investigation State Department at a conference call and conveniently left Fox News off when they want to -- them the day before their people went to Capitol -- the CIA had a -- and guess what news organization was left out Fox News -- -- a memo was released I think it was by doesn't the intelligence said.

You know so -- to me that's the irony of it but if they are trying to punish fox because we dared to ask -- questions -- all pressing question.

What are the facts on four murders and the more you try to hide it the more that one a 171 days straight to -- two days -- -- -- three days we're still not -- answer.

It's reasonable to be suspicious that you're trying to hide something so tell us -- that a little bit.

The American people need to understand that this this -- -- tragedy it's just one example of what the greater problem is with this lack of transparency.

This just trust full list of our own government.

That -- is a prime example of it but.

It leads you to believe -- to know that there are many other deceptions.

That are part of this White House in the and that.

Mode of operation -- in Washington DC.

You know -- if there's a reasonable explanation for any of the confusion.

You know tell us you know -- -- out.

Don't give us more silly stuff don't hide more stuff.

I frankly -- even like the fact that ambassador rice met behind closed doors and it with the senators I would have rather to talk to mark for unanswered question reporters but.

That didn't happen -- that -- is an awful lot that's done behind closed doors in this town.

That's simply should be put on the open the American people can they can take if they can handle it they're the big people.

Yeah absolutely and by the way it was a fascinating interview that you had with senator Collins yesterday I certainly appreciated that new information.

Was exposed -- because of you asking questions of her is she having had that opportunity to speak with Susan Rice that I think that.

It did -- edit discussion after a hearing that interview should lead us all to believe that that Susan Rice perhaps is not the person to become our next secretary of state.

But the very least if she's nominated she should be she's entitled to a full hearing and she's going to be questioned aggressively as she should be and it's every male candidate should likewise be but -- -- we know she's gonna have a lot of questions asked -- to be nominated but let me turn out of the fiscal cliff.

The end of that is so close to us and I wouldn't go hurt and I wonder will it take well look what would take to reach a deal former speaker of the house Newt Gingrich says.

It takes sitting down and talking face to face.

If they wanted to sit and really talk and he he allowed them with Aaron -- -- people Clinton have been governor.

And as governor he spent years negotiating legislatures.

So we took control of the congress week we sort of got that -- dance.

He and I spent I think 35 days face to face it wasn't this my -- will -- -- -- -- and eventually someday it will -- brief phone call it's nonsense.

You have to be any room.

You have to listen to each other.

So where's President Obama today well -- was not in Washington he was at a toy factory in Pennsylvania.

And that to many -- -- back on the campaign trail campaign first fiscal ideas Governor Palin I'm speaker Gingrich who has battled with President Clinton on a big issue says you gotta sit down face to face.

In the same room -- -- 35 days.

This is now been sort of outsource.

How should this be resolved having -- -- I would get these parties to talk.

Well as speaker Gingrich knew then as he knows now that the House of Representatives has great power because they hold the purse strings they can.

I'm find many of the things that are result of Obama's failed socialist policies when it comes to our fiscal situation.

Speaker Gingrich knows that he.

Conceded.

And capitulate they can.

-- at the table and exert the authority that they have the power that they have that the people just gave them by a re electing Republicans.

Conservatives.

In the household in the purse strings -- No more of this reckless irresponsible spending coming from the White House we do wanna read it yet so.

That I believe is what he meant by saying we have that both sit down at the table and both sides and Ed negotiate this thing through but asked for reaching some kind of fiscal cliff that is the -- today in the media at the end in that world a political.

What are Brady got over the Cliff Lee went over the cliff when we engaged in quantitative easing to -- three he and went for years without any kind of budget -- kind of blueprint to figure out how to -- -- this dis functional.

Of overgrown government that is.

Based on borrowed money and -- money from foreign countries that don't necessarily like us and borrowed money from our children and our grandchildren with -- got over the cliff now it's just a matter.

How hard are we gonna -- down there at the bottom of the cliff.

Part -- politicians -- actually and I struggled the whole thought of whether their work ethic is really up for the job.

It is this a lingering -- and I travel a lot -- people about jobs people are worried about losing jobs.

We've known about this fiscal cliff and the sequestration and the tax increases are not increases -- citizens at -- at a minimum.

August of 2011 and all they've done is actually nothing on -- have a lot of chatter no product in the super committee in November 2011 super committee did and could not reach a decision could -- -- an opinion so that the super committee meet December note January -- February noted the president do anything now did anybody do anything in this town now the most of they did was in August they went on vacation and then they campaigned for their jobs which we paid them to go get the job to took off.

August September October early November they finally came back to November and other worried that they can't get a decision before their Christmas vacation.

They're worried that they're not gonna get out -- for Christmas yet to -- -- think like go figure.

Any business owner working with a so money would never do that so I don't in my life too -- -- Politicians.

Now that -- what this comes down to is the need for leadership in our country -- think about all the problems that -- just.

Did did you just a spouse.

Greta an end to consider that he you take all those problems and then you have to acknowledge that the leader of -- the cause of many of those problems.

Was just re elected for four more years of the same four more years of the status quo.

What does Obama do right out out of the -- He says we're -- overtaxed and over suspended.

And outmaneuver the other side in order to somehow through this -- tell you hope -- he wants to create.

Somehow we're going to be a prosperous nation know he has felt.

Can you fiscal policies continue what the group -- analyst the president has has the White House -- -- so yes the leadership and and they -- Democrats have.

They had the senate but can you really let the Republicans off the hook in terms of look.

You know and they -- -- -- -- the other side is just terrible and -- weather -- bad ideas are whatever you've still got to work with -- we've still got to figure out a way to bring them inside your -- To results and is not enough to say -- -- put acting on the table is a word Don -- -- really does take a both the -- I really think greater responsibility is in the party of power.

But I think the -- part of the -- that's not empower you they they've got responsibilities to American people as well in this difficult times.

Well again that the House of Representatives that the leadership there -- to realize they do have power because they hold.

The power of the purse strings.

And they can un fun things that they don't agree with they are the conservatives the Republicans are in the majority there but.

Again it comes down to leadership -- and -- the president of the United States is going to continue to engage in these failed socialist policies and continue Tuesday -- this country.

Then the House of Representatives needs to work around the president and needs to explain to the people what can be done to save us from the -- solvency from this -- Based Gretzky that we're -- that we're facing.

-- 101 of the really lousy ideas yesterday presented by the president's Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.

Is that we want to Capitol Hill he wanted you want to suggest that they changes so that the purview over the debt ceiling was no longer controlled by congress so that the president would essentially have a credit card.

With no limits they could do exactly what he wanted to but that type of mentality not -- in line -- check some bounces on his own power at a time when we're at a perilous economic condition it's beyond me that the Obama administration would ever suggest something like that and say act -- -- I don't I stand it's it's as though they don't get it.

Yep -- Geithner proposal bear to not have -- -- checks and balances that -- it necessarily in here -- the end defending our our republic.

And also them proposing one point six trillion dollars in new taxes.

And another tens of billions of dollars in another stimulus package that they want to.

Proposed here again House of Representatives need to work around those that -- failed ideas of coming from the president and his spokesperson that Republicans.

Don't get wobbly on us don't be wasn't about this.

We just elected you as representative of the people to get there in Washington DC and rain it he had.

Washington DC federal government because as -- relevant in our lives as possible please.

That's the only solution at this point because we cannot continue to embrace the status quo and think that anything's gonna get better.

Well President Bill Clinton got President Obama not reelected perhaps -- can help learn how to talk the other side like he did woods does speaker Gingrich and get something done so maybe.

Maybe if the president won't call speaker Boehner perhaps so called Bill Clinton and maybe that's a solution but.

-- -- take the last word on that.

Governor as always thank you.

Thank you so much -- have a great night.
