She had a wonderful face with a -- liked him and like a proud mommy zoo director Kim Smith is beating about the newest member of their pack -- packet terms this 300 pound bundle of joy.

Rose to deliver the cap early this morning and even after the dozens of births he's seen elephant director Mike Steele says it was overwhelming.

What's that everything is successful I realized how emotional it is I -- each time it's unique.

It's an incredible experience.

The -- the cap hit the floor zoo staffers say she was wiggling around and making loud sounds good.

The keepers put her in -- hardest to get her on her feet and start nursing.

And within just a few minutes -- cap was walking around bonding with mom and they are.

Together -- now moving around -- -- -- -- be here forever it's a much different scene from a few years ago when rose to gave birth to some food drug and was so startled that she kicked him.

Quite a personality.
