Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for.

The southeast and also portions of the southern plains and the big story for today across portions of the south.

Is really how incredibly warm it's going to be for this time of the year eighty degrees will be a high temperatures today in the city of Dallas 82 as well on Houston.

And 86 degrees in the city of Brownsville -- -- did not mean he's doing a month of December so just again -- usual some of these temperatures are actually.

More than thirty degrees about what's normal for this time of the year for some of -- just dealing with incredibly mild air in place.

77 for high temperature in Jackson or violence and even in the city of Tulsa and Oklahoma.

And we're also seeing those temperatures into the eighties.

Across the state of Florida as we take a look at the satellite radar picture really not much going on as far as any rainfall goes -- any thunderstorms most of the activity is relatively quiet out across.

-- SE what we did have to deal with early this morning though where some areas of fog producing some slowdowns at the airports and even.

-- on some of the roadways across parts of the Carolinas and even portions of the Gulf Coast.

As he had some -- that was very mild temperatures in place.

And also some that humid air from the Gulf of Mexico tracking -- so that's really where we had to deal with those.

Areas of fog as we -- next couple of days you're gonna notice that a stronger front is gonna start to set up and push eastward.

In the impacting portions of Tennessee parts of Mississippi -- an eventual into Alabama as we head into tomorrow -- you're really gonna need the umbrellas -- here.

And -- -- you'll notice a bit of a change in those -- temperatures.

Won't be as mild as they are today ahead of that system still dealing with the -- the crossing to Florida Georgia and into the Carolinas.

Basically as we head into your Wednesday so -- so relatively quiet weather pattern even as this front does with you there will be some embedded thunderstorms and heavier downpours.

But not really expecting to see any significant flooding from this next storm system just -- very typical cold front for this time of the year.

Have a great everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- -- from the fox extreme weather center.
