Now there are new developments on the search for a very sick eleven year old girl from Arizona the US Border Patrol recently stopping emily's father as she is called.

As he was crossing in Arizona now -- As she is called by police was undergoing treatment for leukemia last week in Phoenix.

Won her mother removed her daughter's IV and walked her out of the hospital without notifying doctors know -- -- has a catheter in her heart.

If it's not removed there's a possibility.

An infection could kill her Sargent Steve martyrs from the Phoenix police departments with me now -- -- thank you for your time you've got to.

Pretty good mystery on your hands I want to start with the father.

Crossing in Arizona what.

Day was that that he was stopped.

Yeah this was -- late Saturday night into Sunday morning we understand Border Patrol saw him as he was entry in the US.

From Mexico into Arizona.

And you stopped him and asked him where his daughter us what did he -- yet.

Yeah -- behalf of our department the Border Patrol stopped NASA few questions about.

About -- her whereabouts.

Sadly he didn't provide much information to us he denied having any knowledge of and we've been removed from the hospital.

He -- have been aware of being involved in that.

And it sadly to compromising information as to where we could find Amelie so we're still kind of in that situation trying to find it did you know the last time he had contact with his daughter.

You know -- get into that information on Saturday when we believe that he has had some contact with her.

Over the weekend and and possibly even the night that she was released.

Seems a bit ought to what's that a father would not know where.

Sick daughter would be -- -- here you're exactly right about that are you still in touch with -- -- -- we are he is I understand in California we are trying to keep in.

Contact with him to see if -- by chance maybe the family Emily and and her mother.

-- contact him for some reason you also put up their real names you were just using.

Generic names in the past to protect their identity but you say his name is Lewis brought commodities.

He's 46 and the mother is Norma -- c'mon this age 35 why is it important to get their name to announce.

Well really we had kind of run into -- road -- we hit the wall here with with information and by we believe by releasing their names.

It potentially could generate some information from someone in the community who might.

See them somewhere or maybe chicken in a hotel whatever might be.

That -- provide that information that'll help us get and we some help and she.

She needs a lot of help.

And what what does this danger of infection with this catheter that's has a connection to her heart.

And an amputated right arm.

This is -- -- lady who should not be far from medical treatment at all.

Absolutely and in fact that's that's our primary concern in this particular case -- -- -- she is eleven years old has already had a lot of challenges in her young life.

Diagnosed leukemia going for.

To get some treatment for leukemia contracts -- infection.

They have to remove her amputate her right arm and now her mother has kind of -- her -- and a precarious situation where.

Sadly could result in her death.

And so we're extremely concerned about that Odyssey time is of the essence -- of the child and mother -- US citizens and I'm not sure where this trail is going to lead.

But had her mother tried to take her from the hospital earlier or is this the only time that you know.

-- we understand that there may have been some other incidents not necessarily at this particular hospital but at other hospitals -- she has taken Emily.

To receive some treatment they left prematurely.

I don't -- are no details about those other incidents but obviously in this particular case.

Is it could be something that -- Result in in the child's death so again we're we're extremely concerned one more thing that makes it's difficult you say -- -- somewhat of a nomadic life what does that mean.

Well.

They can get to Phoenix Arizona to get treatment for.

For -- however they're not from the valley they have some relatives that live.

In Arizona but not in this particular area.

They also have other family that is in California and they tend to move between Arizona California and Mexico.

We have not necessary -- -- is to determine if they have an actual.

Home where the actually spend most of their time but -- took to the spirits at a time and all three areas sergeant we're gonna stay in touch with you invest a look okay if this helps you get the word out and get that young girl some help.

Let's hope that's the case Steve -- -- it was a -- you got it in Phoenix questions about.
