Tonight -- yet another powerful rainstorm that's bearing down on northern California in fact this is the area's fourth big storm in less than a week -- you Madden.

Out here in Lafayette a jump start on this massive road repair job just.

In time two try to get ready for the next round of wet weather that is due to arrive later today but it is going to take.

Months to fix this giant sinkhole that opened up out here on Sunday it is eighty feet long.

Fifteen feet deep and folks who live along the street are going to have to find ways to detour -- -- it probably until next spring.

Now a creek that runs underneath this street flooded.

Because of all the intense storms filled up with leaves tree limbs and trash that calls the roadway to collapse in Al city engineers are out here with heavy equipment.

Digging all of that debris out before they install a temporary storm drain.

I head of the next system moving in again later today a second road -- south of here in Santa Cruz county also causing.

Big headaches the Santa Cruz mountains off fifteen plus inches of rain in a string of storms and even longtime residents who are used to flooding in the mountains say they are amazed by all of this destruction.

Martha no damage estimates in just yet but it's likely we'll see several northern California counties asking for.
