There's there's no end in sight -- -- a massive strike dramatically slowing activity.

At two of the nation's busiest cargo complexes.

More than -- -- said to be anchored offshore of Southern California they cannot load or unload cargo -- any of the ports LA or Long Beach.

You can see -- -- -- ship's cargo -- just sitting there waiting to be a loaded we know at least eleven ships that have actually gone to other ports because this sport -- been shut down for a week.

As far away as Panama some of -- northern California.

But right now -- nothing's really getting through here as I mentioned as one port employee told me stuff is just trickling through.

I don't what what other two sides saying Adam what are you hearing.

-- both sides of course playing the other side it's been going on for one week.

The clerical workers are the ones -- across are the ones and it's gone strike here there's about 800 of them they say that when they retire their jobs are being moved overseas and other countries.

And that they don't want that to happen anymore.

Because of that 101000 longshoreman won't cross the lines we talk to the clerical workers yesterday afternoon about the strike here's what they said.

We've been dealing with corporate greed and the outsourcing of jobs and you know a lot of people say -- what we're doing is hurting our community.

And hurting -- come in the economy at the United States.

But we also bill that outsourcing -- hurting our economy.

Now in response the -- a statement for the Los Angeles Long Beach harbor employees association saying quote the strike's impact is widening.

And is already costing the national economy billions of dollars by many estimates.

Sadly -- OCU which is the union did it continues but the self interest of 600 members ahead of the local community.

The -- future by building and the economic welfare of an entire country.

Bill by most estimates it's costing one billion dollars a day.

It stated strike goes on.

-- -- word about what might be in the store until the most retailers have -- received a lot of Christmas goods however some of those retailers who go on a two week order frank.

They may not have gotten their goods towards the end of the season -- that could be a problem as you get closer to Christmas.

If this strike drags on at this hour bill doesn't seem to have any end in sight.

A billion dollars a day that is absolutely incredible yet.
