Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the northern plains and today -- any noticing a bit drier pattern out across portions of the Pacific northwest.

Good news for us because we've been dealing with a lot of heavy rain out across that area of the country and also dealing with.

-- not cross a higher elevations but again.

Drier weather is in store for us coming up very soon we're still gonna have one more day which is today to do with some lighter showers and cooler temperatures -- -- as -- -- inland Seattle.

46 degrees very high temperature today a lot cooler -- when you've had the last couple of days.

49 over -- -- and fifties and the city of Medford and also in -- As we head inland 43 for your high temperature over in Missoula and across northern -- It's an extremely mild over the last couple of days and -- talking about temperatures that have actually been setting some records across portions of the planes to -- not so much 42 -- high temperature over in Bismarck.

And 59 degrees in Rapid City which is still not too bad.

For the month of December so here's a look at that lingering moisture out across northwest moving further off towards the east across portions of Idaho and even into the Rockies so.

Again the system is winding down across the coastal area has been moving further inland so we will be seeing some of this moisture across Idaho -- portions of a central Rockies.

As they had basically into Thursday but by Friday most of the Rockies will actually me.

Relatively quiet and dry just going to be dealing with some areas of snow Fontana you're going to be dealing with -- -- -- -- -- -- to your Thursday and also into your Friday.

The heavier snow forecast for Friday along the higher elevations out here so that is something.

And we will have to keep in mind -- we're doing any traveling out here through any mountain passes.

You can see some more wet weather in store -- -- of Seattle meanwhile southern Oregon and northern California seem relatively dry and enjoying a quieter weather pattern for the and -- work weeks of Seattle -- some more wet weather to come otherwise further south.
