In the meantime -- will be another briefing on the Ben Ghazi the families of the four Americans killed in that attack.
Almost three months ago say they are still in the dark about what happened to their loved ones.
The father of Tyrone woods one of the former navy seal saying that he learned more from witness accounts about how his son died -- he did from the White House.
New Hampshire senator Kelly -- here now member of the armed services committee and the Budget Committee and senator good morning and welcome back to America's Newsroom.
Good morning -- -- the families have any more answers now about how these Fordyce.
Unfortunately now.
And we had four brave Americans that were murdered.
My heart goes out to those families they deserve answers.
We still don't know why that consulate was -- more secure getting to prior attacks on the consulate.
Given the security requests given that the British had left the Red Cross at last.
It should have been secured or we should -- close the consulate they deserve answers to that they also deserve answers as to what happened during a seven hour attack.
Why are military on September 11 did not have acids in the area to be able to help those that were there.
Obviously they deserve answers they -- the victims here and ultimately to hold those accountable the terrorists who committed this -- -- what's the hold up.
I think the holdup is that we're not getting answers from the administration unfortunately.
We have not heard testimony yet from Secretary Clinton obviously a key player in all of this.
You know we've been pursuing answers to questions.
Just so this issue of the talking points I had three different stories at least every time you asked that -- -- get a different answer.
That's why I was supporting us select committee from the beginning so that we can get everyone together.
To get the complete picture because right now we're just getting drips and drabs instead of the entire information.
And most of all -- -- to make sure this doesn't happen again.
So what went wrong.
What can we take from that and make sure that we learn the lessons from it.
And -- all of those accountable those terrorists who committed this a few pointed questions what do you know about the level of premeditation.
By these terrorist.
Well I still think that those are questions that need to be answered but let's face it they showed up with RPG's mortars and automatic weapons.
It takes some premeditation -- show up with weapons like that when you're -- -- consulate.
You just don't pull those out of your bag and go do you know so I think that's important -- of itself.
We also know there -- prior attacks on the consulate.
And so how does that relate to -- far in -- that pre -- this attack certainly not what about the numbers some of those questions they needed and what about the number of suspects in custody how many can you confirm.
I can't I cannot confirm right now and we know of course of adding that least took a least one we know love of course.
Because that person we wanted and push for member senator Gramm pushed for that person to be.
Question and had to push for that because the FBI hadn't even talked on yet.
But at this point they're still so many questions and obviously I understand why those families are frustrated they have a right to -- That person in Tunisia we get a lot of questions from viewers here's one -- because.
Benedict writes this -- a Kentucky when is mrs.
Clinton expected to testify about her role.
And the -- Ghazi attacks in our consulate the second question -- -- any witnesses that survived the attack and when will we hear their testimony.
First on Secretary Clinton you mentioned her will that happen or not.
She -- said she will testify but only after the internal report investigation is done I think she should testify immediately.
But we have not heard her testimony yet and I think that's got to be a priority when it comes to those witnesses there were witnesses there.
They were interviewed by the FBI.
Those interview reports have obviously not been made public first of all but also.
My last understanding is that the intelligence committee was still waiting to receive some of the -- by -- -- that review.
-- I guess I.
I think that if they could be shared in -- in a classified setting I review information and media classified.
Setting all the time and obviously have to protect that information but most importantly -- last I knew the intelligence committee was still looking for that information.
So Secretary Clinton you believe will testify.
At some -- -- that she absolutely have to testify.
Let's not forget -- in the midst of the election she came forward and say you know I take full responsibility for this and in addition to that.
This is the State Department this is a consulate.
Ambassador Stevens worked for the State Department we need to understand.
Why given that prior attacks -- that consulate.
And as you -- and our secure she is suggested a willingness to appear to that's what he's asking me if it's public through.
Senator -- that she appeared to thank you Kelly a -- to Republican senator there we will follow this into our viewers.
