There we will -- wondered if someone else this time teachers they said there teachers -- job that you don't.

No longer ever fire them and lots of teachers -- bad.

The schools are failing teachers are the reason bad teachers bad bad teachers.

Up.

-- -- of a nearly eight minute video from a California's teachers union.

Suggesting the rich point a finger at everyone else when they are really to blame for all of our problems.

But it is another part of that video that has some questioning the union's message.

Even labeling it as vile and vicious.

Trace Gallagher has a lot -- -- -- newsroom Trace.

Meg in the video begins with once upon a time and it and -- happily ever after but in between about seven minutes and 35 seconds of attacking the ridge calling them greedy.

And uncaring money loving liars who elected all the politicians and do not pay.

Their fair share of taxes in fact the only reason they're rich says the video.

Is because of tax cuts loopholes and tax invasion.

You may notice a theme of this whole thing is that the rich are bad they're the villains and at one point as you may have seen the rich actually urinate.

On the floor now.

At one point that's what happens but then you go on the video put out by California teachers association is voiced by -- as the you know and he's the liberal activist and actor.

He's the one the voice the eight minute video it claims that the -- -- so used to being rich.

That when the government set up the stimulus the rich got all the money.

But they didn't give any to the ordinary people whose houses and jobs were broken by the crash.

Those people said you can go rich people money to replace their money they got lost in the crash why aren't you giving us -- to fix our houses and our jobs.

Of course they failed to point out that of the 787 billion dollars stimulus more than a 105 billion -- toward education.

Twenty billion toward food stamps 39 billion dollars plus went to extending unemployment insurance benefits and 25 billion.

Went to extending health benefits for the unemployed in fact the lion's share of the stimulus.

When did those in lower and middle class families the video by the way you might have noticed is mad.

To give President Obama a boost when it comes to raising taxes on those who make more than 200000 dollars year in the California.

Federation of teachers is hoping the people just spread this thing around so far.

No word this is being played in any classrooms but we contacted the teacher's union.

They've not gotten back to it -- About it mission accomplished its biggest got a lot of -- -- on Fox News but it raises some interesting questions that we do want a debate -- banks.

What does this kind of message say about the people were teaching our children and the way they think.

Let's bring in our panel now Monica Crowley who's a radio talk show hosts -- Politico is the founder of left action an activist group that promotes progressive causes.

He's also president of -- go consulting so.

-- -- a laugh a little thought -- you have to laugh I mean I know people are very upset some but like it you know I.

I don't know.

Does it disturb you that the people who put this together are are teaching our children and are you shocked that this is the way they think well they want -- the last Macon which is why they did it in this comical cartoonish kind of wasted if you raise legitimate issues about the message.

You are considered some sort of -- -- -- who doesn't really get it.

-- the problem here is two -- number one the teachers -- -- that put out this video or at least the union that made it on behalf of the teacher thinks that the people.

-- are teaching our kids right they have the future of the country in their hands.

And they're putting out this kind of really file kind of message about class warfare which is wholly anti American.

Part of this message -- -- ended the public teachers are paid for by the taxpayers -- they're paid for by taxpayer money.

-- what percent in this country pay about 40% of all federal income taxes.

The top.

10% pay about 7%.

So would out of the primary taxpayers actually paying federal and state income taxes.

These teachers have no salary.

They have no job so the higher tax -- payers who aren't the wealthy in California and nationwide are actually paying their salaries so they shouldn't be doing this kind of aiming it's got a message -- -- edit it clearly.

You know that about America is we always sort of say this -- landed opportunity you know anybody can put themselves up by the bootstraps and get yourself out of his station in life to which were born and you know this seems to have a different message about how really if you're richer -- Well there's a reason it's resonating and that is spreading so quickly is because he'd he'd it is -- It is addressing concerns that people have that are quite legitimate but for example Mitt Romney not to bring him up again and -- you may remember Mitt Romney.

He paid thirteen point 9% and twenty million dollars in earnings and I and I look at that and Mike why am I paying three times -- -- without capital get the stats academy of a tax rate is different from the income tax rate this contract that is and its biggest -- I don't incoming he paid a higher -- Yeah and -- Social Security paid way way way lower rate but -- why is capital gains tax of 15%.

To encourage investment in the country so we can continue to have a business -- live on less than when they rate was higher.

The point is Mitt Romney when he when Clinton -- the and it would capital gains -- President Clinton Democrat was the one who lowered over the that would -- all over the place but there's no correlation.

Between its relation to investment into.

Income earned income well.

Demonize the reactionary to make the points people made bad decisions the whole mortgage meltdown was a nightmare that banks -- irresponsible behavior but.

What what demonize all of the rich I wouldn't I mean game hasn't all the Irish luck I hope to be rich one day I aspire to -- I would love to be a billionaire and I think people.

Have admiration for the want to follow the rules and who actually earn what they what they made but when someone basically sits on their assets.

And gets thirteen point 9% as -- tax raiders twenty million I think that frustrates me but.

Off we go about it totally legal but yeah morally wrong to -- an album oh no not at all it is legal the law itself is asinine.

And then there's no reason why should be -- and in the -- so -- on government enforcement can the tax code of equalization of everybody is -- you're arguing for incoming equality -- -- -- -- -- -- one million dollars a member agreed to pay 13 the rate in the summer here it's not my business if we're -- let's let's make it -- -- distinctly private sector do you credit -- critical distinction between.

The private sector which is what we're talking about hedge funds and things.

That is private money right that is those -- private companies with shareholders that they have to answer to.

Private money -- taxpayer money.

Which is what these teens teachers are being paid from that those are apples and oranges to totally different -- -- -- that it did tennis because -- candidate name that I like about it is there is the you talk about the capital gains on that but they are clearly demonizing the rich in this country that at all about the 1% -- 1% to the point where they actually have video of our rich guy.

Urinating.

On poor people.

I mean that's how they view of the world us and rich you know that they that this is what the rich think -- PS -- -- -- -- this is no coincidence okay did this video was not an accident what we've seen certainly of the last four years.

Has been a concerted effort to demonize the bridge we see it through.

President Obama's approach you see it now to his approach on the fiscal cliff about radical wealth redistribution.

You saw -- with Occupy Wall Street which was supported by the unions by the global socialist movement.

And it's not it's happening here Maginnis is a global movement to the -- Too radical wealth re distribution so again this is no accident it's -- hard to comment there but let me get this job because they're going to see -- heavy there are quite seem to be in part of the try to get people's attention and mission accomplished.

But they they seem to be trying to say.

The rich and maybe that is to say -- in this case for the irresponsible banks or what have you but they seem to be saying they got us into this mess financially.

And now they're trying to say look over -- look over there it's the teachers it's their pensions.

And blame us you know teachers who make what you know 6070000.

Dollars a year which is a decent living in -- -- but not rich.

And it's not -- that's what they're trying to say it's not us don't buy that narrative that it's all about us and our pensions while.

It -- it's not fair -- know a teacher actually works for that income and pays 2030%.

Tax.

Whereas somebody who is just -- of this money from capital gains which -- assets that they.

May work for years ago.

Is paying thirteen point 9% that just strikes -- -- Fed -- I was.

Saying we should demonize all wealthy people what what they're saying is look we should at least have fair share of taxes being paid and -- and there's just.

No so what is can't share share.

If the top 1% it's already caring about 40% of the federal tax burden than than the questions you is what is a fair share.

For them I think it should be the tax rates that -- for most of the Reagan administration.

Which is basically a little higher than what president Obama's aggressive and are you willing then to go to Reagan or Clinton Era spending levels if you're going on that might not cutting spending and -- -- -- -- that is although we solve all the problems -- -- yeah well done a great -- thank -- without -- that.
