Hey guys welcome back -- my film -- Adam Housley is off this afternoon watching tech take.

Right here foxnews.com -- so let's go right now how college.

-- -- those are seen as the bridge between pre Internet generations and those who will never ever ever.

Ever ever ever know world -- -- would be Internet or cell phone.

Plus how does technology.

And model the way this generation views marriage relationships work.

Has their upbringing had an impact on the way they -- -- equality in our country good questions this has been answered and Jack Myers he is here hijacked.

You guys eager to get it he's the author of hooked up booked up is the book -- it is.

Hooked up a new generation surprising take on sex politics and saving the world.

So where do you wanna start first of all how did you come to start to -- studying the -- -- I was really studying the transformation between pre and post Internet -- looking at the differences between those -- who.

Born before the Internet and those born after what I found was this little bridge generation five years born nine 95.

Who have the sensibilities and sensitivities of the pre Internet age but our first window the prism through which we can see the future of Internet natives.

So we've been broken down and full screen here who are the -- up in a generation as you say -- war between 19811985.

20122016.

College graduating class and -- by the way only account for 20% of the total pulling us we'll get into the other room -- in a moment.

But let me start with Jason and asked how the -- their upbringing has impacted the way -- view.

Equality for well.

Because they've grown up online they they have a completely it's almost like they're DNA is being built in a different way.

They don't understand the concept of having to encourage diversity in human rights because it's second nature to them it's a birth right.

They're they're measured by their creativity.

Their ideas not by there -- the color of their skin or their gender or their age or.

-- size in and therefore there there -- growing up with.

Far less restraints and new restrictions and as boundary a sense of total equality they also don't understand.

Silos hierarchies they don't understand organizational chart so they're coming out of college into the workforce.

Not really understanding the concept of traditional organizations are very collaborative because they've been online work collaboration is the norm.

But I know you're very impressed with this group makes you mentioned something that's interesting and that is because they are going into the workforce and think they're very Smart.

We -- coming into that workforce where there is still more structured depending on -- -- -- limited.

A lot of them are getting some of the cooler -- jobs better he would hit cubicles and they can weird you know converts it to work.

Okay that's that I went very well -- -- go into the little ourselves off.

There's a throw themselves on -- down on the couch and they say what's up dude yeah absolutely know that that that there is a that there's a power is in place that they should be respective -- even aware.

It I think that I think it's good I think that it's good that there without some boundaries but I also do believe that they're.

Should be -- understanding of respect that you just talked about when you throughout this next thing we're looking at the profile of the hooked -- generation.

And ratings they're born between -- when in 95 right there on Facebook.

Most of them play online bill or the console games there -- -- -- -- -- they were texting right they shop online pretty much that's all they didn't -- everything they don't go to Africa more restaurants really that's so.

It's 2000.

One even hit.

And then they expect.

New technology where where we look at and say oh my god look what's coming how we gonna manage at all how we're gonna deal with think they expected and they embrace it when it's there are so -- the first generation that's really.

Born into technology in the idea of Texaco -- acceleration.

I was very fascinated because part of that the -- title here -- new generation surprising take on sixth.

There.

Porn I read it at that -- -- but that court is.

-- been ubiquitous for most of their lives available it doesn't impress them what's most interesting is that.

It -- for the next decade 60% of college graduates are going to be female.

The workforce is going to be heavily impacted by a female centric point of view.

Politics education.

Business almost every aspect of civilization is in in the US and and globally is going to be have you heavily influenced by women.

And then and women coming out of college and our study we found that really accepting of male immaturity if you with a with a -- well and and there they consider themselves -- Sexually.

But.

What I heard over and over again in our interviews with the with young women is.

You know they wanna have fun they want to go on dates but the last thing they want is some immature guy dragging them down.

They really want they're focused on their careers of the first generation to grow up.

Without a belief that they're going to be more successful than the parents they know how how hard it's going to be.

But they're not motivated by money they're motivated by doing good by making contribution by being fulfilled -- having an -- experience.

And that wonderful I you know I mentioned something deep and it which is what -- how old you are without boundaries -- and millennial.

And -- perhaps when they go into some of the more structured workplace atmosphere is.

That they might have to learn and double higher here respect however let me flip -- -- is now what is it that we can learn from the millennial.

It's actually the right question in fact -- -- -- founded an organization.

You're go call women in media mentoring initiative.

For women in the media entertainment.

Marketing and advertising careers and it's the whole idea is -- -- turning.

And it's that would they have as much to teach coming out of college and into the workforce as they have to learn and it's a balance so.

Meant to -- now is -- two -- -- process where.

Women with experience have as much learn as well as to teach.

I think it's always it's always a give and take when you mentor someone let's take a look at this these guys are spending all kinds of time online doing everything online.

They're texting they're on FaceBook and if -- need to update daily.

Beer you know they're blogging of course you Skype who wants to make a phone call any more regular phone CNET based their tanks -- Skyping you know gateway -- 57% of them on Twitter.

But again so they're able to multitask everything is about technology everything's about having two -- -- devices going at one time.

We asked them how much time is spent on different activities -- -- came out to about 36 hours a day 36 hours a day.

So 36 hour of the day.

-- multitask.

-- -- You see -- mention they're 24 hours in the day there they're somehow managing to -- 36 hours of activity.

Intuitive you know our day you know -- -- if you.

Listen texting is quicker you know face looking up a database that they're like okay this which she's doing I think that got it and so it's his best Catholic and -- You see these you walk on a college campus and you see kids walking in groups and their talking in the looking down and they're texting idea and sometimes say what -- who you texting in their texting each other -- having congress and I.

Items within conversely I don't.

I know especially girls which.

-- trying to say something funny about if things are under a zombie and girls are Smart are valuable to manage you know -- -- where we end there idol like that you have.

Finally come to the best part it isn't high where I researched the study that you have done Jack I do appreciate it it's definitely feminist book.

Well I like that and we've been having here -- -- OK with me there's a book hooked up it's by Jack Myers a new generation surprising take on sex politics.

And saving the world thanks so much Jack really interesting regime having me -- enjoyed it.
