Now the top story tonight -- this is incredible.

The Pennsylvania.

Department of public welfare sex that a single mother with two children.

Is better off taking a job that pays 29000.

Dollars a year.

Then a job that pays 69000.

Dollars a year why the costs of entitlements.

Joining us now from our New York studio Fox Business anchor Lou dock so -- explain this please.

Well I personally we've got to get -- credited as you've mentioned to the department of public welfare Pennsylvania they're being honest and straightforward I wish the federal government as I know you do.

Would listen but think about these benefits that are being received by this woman.

25000.

Take home salary of 57000.

Dollars.

You added that.

All of the expenses that we go through where there it's child care whether it is transportation.

In the instance -- one parent and two children in Pennsylvania food stamps amounts to a subsidy of 6300.

Dollars a year.

To that family of three.

Medicare and child health insurance.

161500.

Dollars a year section eight subsidized.

Low income rent another 4300.

Earned income tax credits modestly 5000 dollars -- rise significantly beyond that.

About -- any rate they would total so much money.

Combined with the child is the national school lunch program that they needy family assistance programs.

We're talking about.

More take home pay disposable in com.

For that woman with her two children.

On public assistance.

Then -- woman with two children earning 57000.

Dollars a year it's extraordinary.

All right and if she worrying 69 -- wouldn't get any of that so that the the Pennsylvania authorities say.

The system is set up now to reward people.

Who aren't making any money.

And have you tried have to bring yourself off and -- yourself up -- sorry.

You're actually gonna have a lower standard of living because you lose some of these benefits that's the game right now.

It's the game is also the challenge and and and again there -- I congratulate the department of public welfare in Pennsylvania.

Because they're trying to avoid.

That collision.

Because it doesn't matter in this one instance that what we're talking about here if -- socialist or your capitals.

We're talking about government subsidizing and incentivizing behavior.

And at least in the instance Pennsylvania they're actually thinking about the impact and the impact it's not a.

Since the right there's really honestly you're right if course it does I mean if you gonna do the math.

You stay at the minimum wage job you do better than have you go up to the manager job and and I mean it's crazy and no one -- I got I got it.

Black -- no one wants to break along the country but we've got to talk about the underground atop our economy working off the -- -- doesn't even take into account a trillion dollar economy.

We've got a government that is both naive and irresponsible and it's got to change.

No I don't care real quick you can go I would that I pick on this Jeffrey -- got almost got this -- -- he's he's got his apartment paid for he's got Medicaid.

He's got food stand he's got at all very -- history -- might be an unfair to him I don't think so little.

And bill I think -- -- pointing out -- it's extraordinary that our president who spent much of his life as a community organizer.

Is more interest in expanding government than he is and actually organizing and supporting communities.

Which are really the answer to mr.

Hellman -- solving propping these kinds of -- -- little.

Are -- thank you very much.
