And every -- -- -- party starts with an invitation.
And here we've got invitations from fine stationery dot com this is actually from the -- revenue collection my collection and you know it's great to sort of get the theme going to get things going.
So -- we're gonna start out with an ugly Santana.
Cocktail and it's just a martini -- going to actually -- the glass.
In a little bit of white cranberry juice -- never gonna go ahead and just women here with some of the silver -- -- And this is a great way to you you know Dick deaths involved maybe you could have been set up a little station where they can do this but I always have my cocktail supreme next that's rabbit do today you can go ahead and control.
All -- hall because you do want to drink responsibly.
So I'm putting into ounces of vodka one ounces of cream demands.
And about one counts of the white cranberry GIR.
-- and we're just gonna shake this up like a little snowstorm here.
Get a good shape.
And here we go so there is a great cocktail and again you can have this pre -- -- pitchers if you want and that saves time.
And that's infested do various aspects it is looks like a winter wonderland in a glass it has its definitely winter wonderland and the glass and you know that that's another -- you -- -- go ahead and have these all pre done.
And then another thing you know maybe as guests arrive it's really cold you've got not your grandma's hot chocolate and I absolutely love this because you can have the spring it on the stove already.
It's just hot chocolate with a little bit of cayenne pepper and it.
And then it is one part of Vanilla vodka.
-- it just splash there and then we've got another part of friend -- ago.
And then we're gonna give that a little stir.
And top it off win some whipped cream.
Now he's on that's exactly my grandmother talked supplemental it is your grandmother well hey I got your grandmother's side I think that's awesome.
So just yet that this is a great way to sort of get death in the -- get them fast then.
And it's a lot of fun.
And then of course every good party you've got to have good food and I thought it would be appropriate to do you gingerbread with ugly sweaters because with the -- right you're so I think that's a lot of fun.
And you can just you know -- you could actually set up a station for the kids if you're doing.
You know you've got kids coming to the party or even the adults and have them go ahead and decorate their own cookies there.
And then.
You also have to have like really good -- -- and this is just a chicken wing -- buffalo chicken wing -- And I found these really festive tortilla chips that are in reading green and so it really sort of goes with the party because you know ugly sweater parties aren't your traditional silver and gold.
They're more of both the red and and the green and you know keep it -- those traditional Christmas colors and this is great because -- -- walk around the party and and whatnot.
And then also I've got this I think is really cute.
It's you know just a -- -- that's got your spinach artichoke dip in the little I love New York -- homage to my hometown is I think that's a lot of fun.
And you know you've got to have ugly you know -- and funded core interacted the core I think it's fine.
This is actually gingerbread house that I got from.
1800 baskets and again you -- -- your gas decorated you know your friends decorated at the lot of fun.
So.
She I want to ask you about what when you invite people over and you've planned all these great activities -- them.
And you're trying to create -- obviously a fun and festive atmosphere.
There's always going to be one -- two people it is don't wanna play along gonna wanna they don't want to do your activities what do you do as the host you just have to sort of letting go.
You put a hat on them and Collins courage.
Fighting it out they're not gonna play -- -- -- for -- they're stocking you know I I think you're always gonna find that at a party you're gonna have people that don't wanna -- people that you -- -- participate.
And that's okay I think if you have a little bit of of something for everybody.
You know for example -- great way to get people involved would be to do and ugly present exchange.
So you know yes -- -- to -- the these fun things are -- you like -- -- sound exchange Chris Christmas -- and discuss brings a guest you know on the under thirty dollars you have been drawn number when they walk in the door like one through ten or however many guys -- have.
And then everybody starts to play along number one opens up and then you know number two can open up their -- -- if they like number ones if they can take that and then so on and so forth so that really gets people involved and whoever's the last person they obviously get the -- -- That sounds like a lot of -- -- -- before because -- sometimes it's just as important to know what not to do as it is to know what to do you you've gone through your rabid dues -- -- do we added that we we've got a couple seconds left John I think some rabbit don't speak graphic down.
I would say rabid -- you know as the host of the party don't get drunk at your own party that would just be really bad.
You know another -- -- you know don't let people you know did go out and and drive -- they've been drinking -- -- taxi whatever you know you wanna party responsibly.
