It's shocking statistic one out of every 88 US children will develop autism.

The numbers skyrocketing from just thirty years ago when the disorder impacted just one in every 101000.

Children.

He -- statistics are prompting some lawmakers to demand answers and our next guest.

Questioned the Centers for Disease Control about the federal response Indiana congressman.

Joins us now good morning congressman.

Morning -- -- I'm doing well so I I don't have to tell you about how these autism rates have skyrocketed there's now one in 88 as we said.

And it sounded like you in your fellow lawmakers at these hearings on Thursday do not believe this is just better detection.

As some doctors have suggested do you feel the CDC came and provided you in any answers.

No they haven't you know I was chairman -- government reform and oversight for six years and we had hearings.

On the autism epidemic for four years we had scientists from all over the world come in and intensify.

And one of the causes we believe and I'm very confident that we're accurate.

Is the Mercury that are being injected this being injected into children and adults who are vaccinations.

There's a product called -- -- -- which contains Mercury.

And it's used as a preservative has never been tested.

And children have been getting so many shots before they go to school that many kids are becoming autistic very rapidly after getting -- shots.

And now -- him his answer I just don't know why -- and interject here because.

Doctors have who put this notion -- -- long time in Mercury's been taken out of vaccines.

And in that little bit there is still -- they say are safe levels that it's interesting that you raise it because at the hearings.

On Thursday that very controversial topic whether or not there's a link.

Between vaccines and autism did come up several times let me play for you what congresswoman Carolyn Maloney -- Of the CDC.

Share.

I must have had fifty different parents.

-- -- -- come to me and say I had a healthy child.

Yet then they had and then 96.

Vaccinations.

At one time and that child changed overnight.

And was knocking their hand on the wall and it was it changed child.

-- CDC respond to that.

Well they responded that you know there was -- -- concrete evidence.

Did to prove that.

And my answer to that is well if there's any question at all about whether or not Mercury causes a problem like this for kids or adults we ought to get it out of our vaccinations.

If you are are a woman who's pregnant.

They tell you not to eat fish that may have Mercury and they tell you not to handle Mercury in any any way shape or form.

And yet my grandson got nine shots in one day seven of which had Mercury in them and he became autistic a very short time later.

So there's no doubt in my mind as scientists around the world confirm this.

That the Mercury this injected into our bodies particularly -- vaccinations.

Is a contributing factor.

I'm not against vaccinations.

I'm just saying we need to get Mercury out of those.

Of course and it makes doctors very nervous to think that anybody is against vaccinations because the flip side.

Of what that -- -- in terms of epidemics of other diseases is a problem.

But congressman you do have a personal you have personal experience -- this so what do you want the federal government to do about these rising autism rates now I.

I think the CDC and NF DA and and health and human services should get Mercury out of anything this injected -- put into the human body.

Because it is toxic we all know that it's one of the most toxic manner and materials in the world.

And so.

We can go to single shot Viles for vaccinations for adults and children.

That would not require any kind of preservative like mr.

summer fall.

If we could do that I think we could at least stem the tide on these radical increases in in people who have autism.

Our congress and Denver and we really appreciate you coming in the Sunday to give us.

Your personal take on all this and tell us what happened at these hearings obviously -- we'll stay on the story thank you thank you very much.
