This is the most viewed YouTube video ever it is they smash hits in the US but now gangland style all the rapper behind it is set to perform at a concert the President Obama will attends.
-- Back in 2004 though -- her size is -- -- the United States calling for slow and painful death American soldiers and their families so.
Does he deserve such a privilege of playing for the press.
Mother of mark Allen -- the first navy seal killed in Iraq and president of America's mighty warriors getting Lee joins us this morning Debbie thank you so much for coming on our show this morning to talk about this.
You bet thank you so much for having me when you first heard about this White House Christmas special that's going to be airing on T and T I guess -- the you have written about for four days before Christmas and the president will be in attendance what was your worst.
I was disgusted.
To know that.
An individual who had called as you said for the slow and painful death of our troops and their families is in a place of honor.
And performing before our president was just disgusting to me.
How do we allow that to happen and how do we choose those as role models that get that honor this is someone that should be on a no fly Lester.
You know -- terrorist watch list for saying the things that he said it's just disgusting to me.
And -- we can't actually repeat the things that he said this morning they're too.
Vial and violence having said that this was eight years ago don't.
He says -- he was at the time expressing his anti war sentiment and by the way he didn't write the lyrics he was singing them a long.
We had the group that wrote them let me read to you he's apology and and here we think about -- this is from side he -- long grateful.
For the freedom to express oneself I've learned there are limits to what language is appropriate I will be forever sorry.
For any pain I have caused anyone by those words it sounds like his position has evolved.
You know though that might issue with this this was years ago that he did this why did he not resolve it then why just all a sudden the day before yesterday.
Is he putting out this apology.
Because he knows that this could jeopardize his career and his sales in America to me again that's just another marketing ploy.
It's it's I don't see any value -- -- that many years later that he's doing this it's just to protect his career and his sales in America.
Got my reaction is yes there was this the first time we learned about this and I don't think -- most people knew that this song existed until you maybe if you just a few days ago.
What do you want to have happen now now all of the White House is aware of it now that TNT and turner broadcasting is aware of this this Christmas special what do you want them to do.
He needs to be pulled from the program I spent two hours last night.
Trying to get through to the White House and had a -- busy signal for two hours I could not get through.
There -- a petition that was posted by Kristen Taylor on Saturday about 10 o'clock in the morning hitting people that's fine to have him removed from that concert.
Five hours after that was up on we the people on our White House website it was removed because it didn't fit the scope.
Of the petitions on there and again for me this is just ahead.
Our president again who doesn't want to hear from Americans he doesn't support our troops and it just -- me that this continues to happen our men and women.
Are willing to sacrifice their lives for you.
For me for the freedoms that we enjoy every single day.
Just -- my son did and then we have someone like this individual who is called.
For the murder of our troops and our families being in a place -- -- -- that's disgusting.
Our White House needs to listen to us and they need to remove him from that program and of course lost in all of this debate.
Are this sacrifices that people like your son -- you tell us a little bit about mark.
You bet amazing young man -- young man stood out in the direct line of fire three different times that day that he was killed.
Defending his teammates.
Defending the freedoms that we enjoy in America he was 28 years old when he gave his life man with great sense of humor.
Lots of compassion.
Impacted so many -- he wrote -- letter.
Two weeks before he was killed that literally has impacted.
Millions and millions of people around the world and that's who he is that's his character he's been gone for six years but still impacting people all over the world.
And I miss him very much especially at the holidays that's a difficult time.
But I know -- the holidays we've got troops that are serving that are you know some giving their -- for you mean today.
And we need to make sure we don't forget our troops we don't -- families and especially the families of fallen.
No W we we we honor your sacrifice your family sacrifice and certainly the sacrifice of all the brave men and women out there.
Serving our country during this Christmas holidays well -- thank you so much for sharing your story with us this morning.
You bet Merry Christmas so all of our troops and their families got blessed thank.
