Will hundreds of volunteers who rushed to New York after -- -- sandy are settling into their home away from home.

When they're not helping with the recovery effort red cross and -- members are recuperating on the USS right.

The ship is docked on Staten Island and is equipped with sleeping quarters and the common area.

It's an interesting dynamic as many of the Red Cross volunteers are much older retired health care workers.
