Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the midwest and today's a very -- -- out across parts of the midwest we had to actually deal with the winter storm.

Over the weekend had done significant snowfall across parts of South Dakota Minnesota and even into Wisconsin some spots over a foot of snow.

Minneapolis actually think -- their first significant snowfall this season with a little bit more than ten inches of snow out there are so many.

Snow lovers are happy because we've actually been seeing a bit of a lack.

Of snow over the last several weeks across portions of the midwest that's good for business out here he had anything to do with us -- any season.

And you're looking at any -- that could be improving from that as we -- northern Rockies temperatures on the cool so well 32 for you in -- 35 in Billings.

Any Casper Wyoming expecting high temperature pretty chilly.

At 29 -- -- not even making it out of the freezing mark.

Across parts of the Pacific northwest -- into bad forties for you in Seattle and Portland 52.

Boy high temperature in the city of Medford there's not really a whole lot of activity going on across northern plains for the northern Rockies we do have some areas -- Some snow showers that are coming down across parts of Montana -- Wyoming -- as far south.

As Salt Lake -- eventually moving at the western parts of the -- of Colorado but overall again.

Relatively quiet compared to what some of you will be starting to deal with gasoline and Cindy on Tuesday there's a storm system in the Pacific.

And -- so we'll continue to dig down into parts of the Pacific northwest including in Seattle Portland and also into Medford.

Basically as we head into Tuesday afternoon and eventually continuing into the day.

On Wednesday in this storm system is going to be a little bit colder so we are expecting to see some snow across portions of the cascades and eventually down into the Sierra Nevada -- you will have to deal with some pretty dangerous driving conditions.

Asking until late in the day on Tuesday and also into your Wednesday otherwise before that enjoyed -- quite weather across portions of the Pacific northwest.
