You gave me so much pleasure during the Olympics and -- I'm telling you.

-- -- -- Now you know I got to ask though that that the story is.

That you -- real close to it not going to the Olympics in quitting.

To take a job and do what are -- the way to work chick filet and that her he loved to play I -- launch a life.

I tell you what I'm pretty sure that if you ever wanted to work -- chick filet I can get beyond.

-- Have a feeling your career is gonna take you a lot of places.

But it is interest in why did you even think about quitting.

I thought about cleaning quitting because my -- -- came.

There and Iowa for Christmas and as their home sick had found heading back home awhile.

So I want to go with them when Chris is Chris is all said and done and they raid pack up and go back to thinking yeah.

I deal with them and home sickness was very -- I mean almost got me to the point I wanted to -- and.

Classics you know I don't think people understand how much sacrifice.

Olympic athletes have to make.

In order to win one of these and we've got a couple of your gold medals here.

That's pretty.

I can understand why it would be frustrating.

You've talked about in your book that one of the ways that you held strong.

Was because your faith kept you there tell me about that.

My faith plays a big -- and my life and I don't know where I would be.

Let's -- today I mean god has blessed me so much she's kept me safe and welcoming at every single morning and I remember watching the Olympics and I am my lips are moving and that's me train so I always -- -- -- every competition.

And right as the judges hand.

Goes up I pray and it's just part of me and I mean I -- it could you didn't break desperately.

Yeah.

How -- faith keep you grounded because I mean there's a lot of pressure on you now.

I can only imagine what it was like during the Olympics -- I can I mean I can only imagine because I don't understand it.

But the pressure there right now the pressure people and knowing you there watching you there asking all these questions people like me.

How does your faith keep you grounded and in keep -- from just let -- all get to.

-- -- SS I kept me grounded and I'm very humble.

And I'm so thankful saw that keeps me grounded and my mom keeps me grounded and -- -- -- -- -- -- -- And I am a big giver I mean I -- to get I want to be that lesson of the people because some many people are around me have given.

You know bats -- I wanna give back and repeat -- Only hear about the favorite moment you've had since the Olympic Games what was that -- Must have mom I had was all -- final salute after Florida when I jumped at its house arms and said.

They keep -- for everything and the next day he told me he cried and talent had a crash so for media here that was just amazing.

Well you know I think I think everybody in America cried watching -- and -- a good way okay and it doesn't.

Because you were so remarkable but you went out there with such.

Such confidence and poise and we all knew how young he wore.

And we understood what we would be feeling if we were your -- and thinking how does she do it so the question now I get to ask you.

How do you do.

Had -- -- takes and I Cheney and guys give me this god given talent -- the -- goes up to him I mean he's you know -- me like I said neck and and it just takes a lot and it takes determination and and dedication and it takes a -- and it takes.

I blinding you have to one and -- to get and you have to you want -- -- Qaeda everything mandated to no matter what you guys do you have to want it.

You know everybody wants this town that platform there's not many people that wanna do what you did to get there and that's that discipline -- day after day.

After day the ruling training that you had to endure was there any particular thing that that.

Just kept you going and -- I mean I can imagine you retired you just.

Sick of the repetition of it so what's -- move away that you just said yeah I still wanna do this not knowing whether it would turn out with two gold medals or not.

Exactly at least at F I tried -- Moving to Iowa and giving up going to a whole different place and you atmosphere -- I can at least say I tried it my.

And my motivation -- going to the Olympics I mean.

I never wanted to have regrets saying I want I -- I would -- done that so that's my motivation and I went.

Mean my -- a lot of struggles so my motivation was to -- know compass my dream and just to go to Olympics and have fun.

Well obviously -- not only had found that you gave us a lot of fun all of us.

Was there something big it's happened to you since you've come back from the Olympics that just stands out as a great moment I say going to the White House and -- president.

Got to think that be pretty big was that even bigger than being on the -- just just that.

And I just just wondering.

Yes I'm sure.

At least you're honest about it is it okay -- -- -- sports writers all called you the flying squirrel that was that.

Was -- a term of endearment RT did you not like that I think -- are very Q Kyle.
