Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- -- from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also the northern Rockies and high temperatures today a lot cooler don't -- site yesterday across parts of Seattle Portland Medford.

Temperatures only into the forties this afternoon northern Rockies not too far away from -- we should be at this time the -- look you're expecting a high at 3740.

And -- -- 36 degrees the northern plains you start off the morning once again very cold single digit temperatures.

Or even in the teens across parts of Minnesota -- -- -- into the afternoon Bismarck they're expecting high at 28.

-- -- at 37 -- a better today than yesterday and North Platte in Nebraska.

It's at the high temperature into the low forties as far as rainfall goes across portions of the northern plains or snowfall.

We're not really expecting much of that to -- it's going to be a relatively quiet day as we head west found though in Seattle importantly.

You -- -- seen arriving storm system as we head into this afternoon and this storm is gonna pack a punch as far as it as far as snowfall goes across the cascades.

And even down into parts of the Sierra Nevada into the -- of California -- those storm system -- the good news with that.

Is that it is going to be a relatively quick mover you will have to deal isn't dangerous driving conditions OS we had throughout the day on Tuesday and even into -- Wednesday as -- snowfall continue to fall.

And that rain will also fall on the coastal area so keep in -- -- driving along I five.

Otherwise interior portions of the northwest and northern Rockies -- -- relatively quiet some snow showers here and there across higher elevations of Wyoming.
