Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest.
And also portions of the midwest and temperatures today gonna be on the -- -- out across portions of the Pacific northwest in Seattle 43 degrees Fahrenheit temperature 45.
In the city of Portland and over in Medford high temperature at just forty degrees they live across the plains are gonna notice a bit of -- teens today.
Compared to what we've been experiencing over the last two days temperatures now.
Are gonna be rebounding nicely during the afternoon hours 52 where high temperature over North -- Upper forties in rapid CDs some of these temperatures are actually going to be once again.
Above average 38 degrees -- high temperature in Bismarck but of course -- after a very chilly start early this morning with wind chill temperatures.
Now below zero for many people across portions of the midwest you're still bringing those heavy coats because you factor in a little bit of the wind out there across the midwest.
And even those can be relatively above average as far as temperature goes it's going to be -- colder than -- the thermometer reads across the midwest so again that's is going on across the midwest.
Also some light snow showers rolling on through northern portions of Minnesota and not a huge deal the bigger deal is -- west we have a new storm system that has arrived across portions of I five from Seattle down into Portland.
And as far south as California even Southern California will be dealing with some moisture from the storm system in the form of rainfall.
And were even in any deal with some snow across higher elevations already seeing some of that across parts Montana Idaho into what you mean.
And as a story as well across portions of the cascades.
Towards the west take a look at the feature radars and sit next two days we're still expecting that unsettled weather to continuing eventually pushing southward.
Can have a bit of a -- in the day on Thursday but then another storm arrives as the wrap up the workweek on Friday just in time for your morning commute with some areas of rainfall.
Along I five from Seattle down into northern parts of Californians will be dealing with that next storm system that's going to be bringing in some areas of -- -- and more snow.
