Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- now from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast and -- of portions.

Up in the midwest and eleven hung on any front quarter and the northeast you're gonna notice today that temperatures are much cooler.

Now -- we've been seeing over the last couple of days on Monday we saw some high temperatures making -- the seven -- -- mid sixties across our area.

And today back to reality we're talking about temperatures very typical for the month.

December 40 over Abbas -- 43 in New York City and as we get into upstate New York looking -- -- high temperature this afternoon at 39 in the city of Syracuse.

Otherwise as we have westbound we're actually gonna start to -- have been on the rise in temperatures across portions of the plains and also across the midwest 51 for -- high temperature over in Saint Louis.

And also a high temperature at 48 degrees in Louisville in the -- of Kentucky.

As far as precipitation goes today will be a much -- -- day in the last couple of days have been seeing across both the midwest and also the northeast.

We had -- -- move on through producing areas of -- -- even some travel delays.

In as some of the airport's long adding five quarter yesterday and today that storm is finally gone we're dealing with some clouds early to -- -- -- actually gonna get some sunshine.

And also seen some of that dry weather expected to continue their arsenal lingering snow showers across portions of a great place -- -- me expected.

Basically because -- colder air is moving over the war relatively warmer lakes.

And -- systems and snowfall but as you can see in the future radar there really isn't much of that as -- -- until later on in the day on Wednesday into Thursday and then eventually.

By the end of the work week we still expect is relatively flat whether to continue in place of good news.

If -- -- any travel plans coming up for the weekend and does not like you can have any issues getting at a town.

As we head into Friday dry weather high pressure in place.

As we -- here basically Thursday and Friday to -- the work -- looking good temperatures also remaining pretty steady yes we -- the next couple of days.
