Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Marie -- now from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the southwest.

And today we're going to be looking at a stretch of pretty messy weather.

Especially across the state of California we have a new storm system that's arrived producing some rain and import Chinese -- -- -- -- higher elevations.

Good music we like to -- -- good music you have to do any driving today along the mountain passes out there.

In the Sierra Nevada -- or even across lower elevations because they're still going to be dealing with that -- and poor visibility as well.

Temperatures also much cooler today 543 -- San Francisco 42.

Over in Reno and across Southern California.

Most 6061 for you Los Angeles and also in -- Diego the -- not too bad.

Relatively quiet for today we do have some clouds rolling on through parts of -- top and also northern portions of Arizona but again the moisture is -- off toward the toward the west.

We're not talking -- significance -- fox deletions or flooding rainfall but still going to be a messy gap there you can already see those snow showers falling across portions of the higher elevations that wakes up right there.

In this Sierra and also that green stuff is rainfall across the lower elevations in the West Coast of basically -- state of California.

As -- continue throughout the day out when -- here Thursday and even Friday that wet weather will continue out across the southwest.

You can see rainfall fall across parts of -- -- -- -- seen -- throughout the day on Thursday.

And some snowfall can make it all the way dance in the San Bernardino area where we do actually have a winter storm warning in effect out here.

Busy talking must -- -- and leasing and also some gusty winds.

And those winds of course will make you feel a lot colder than what the temperatures actually read to keep that in mind and have to bundle up here.

Asked me and here Thursday and I'll see your Friday eventually this area of low pressure will continue to move eastward.

Impacting portions of Nevada with snow ice and into Thursday and Friday.

And -- you'll wind up in New Mexico and also in the state of Arizona Colorado and you talk.
