Good day for obamacare today is the deadline for states to decide whether or not they were running key piece.

All of this law or leave it to the federal government.

Has called an exchange and what does it mean for you doctor Marc Siegel he's the members are.

Or maybe -- -- private insurance you can go to this exchange here as -- that'll be obvious for the employer may say we can't cover you anymore.

And there's all eat more and more millions coming -- the market that have been investigators from these extra -- nineteen states have already said we're not going to run.

Our own exchange in our state what does that mean for.

Every day Americans living that's.

But -- -- I think the reason they're saying you're one might argue it's politics but there's also the -- of -- fiscal restraint.

Those nineteen states may be saying hey we can't afford to do this.

We may not be able for the -- these exchanges the federal government -- at that by current estimates gonna have to spend almost a billion dollars in those states.

Setting up its exchanges now for people out there with this is gonna mean is if you live in one of those nineteen states.

Come next October.

You gonna have to probably deal with an exchange that the -- set up for the states.

And the problem with -- in my opinion is that it is another level of bureaucracy because bill.

Since we don't have portability of insurance since insurance companies are state by state.

It's your state government that used to dealing with your local insurance companies not the federal government -- -- the federal government is running the exchange.

They may not be used to dealing with your -- Obama -- -- a great point so there -- seventeen states and Washington DC that say they will set -- An exchange with the federal government.

MI better off to live in one of those states so far less the what all the far rest New York states like that.

I think you are I think -- better you are what I think you're better off living in the state where the state is running the exchange rather than the federal government.

Federal government hasn't even given out the -- the plans yet of how they're gonna do the exchange.

But the states are already ramping up -- the ones that are doing it like if you go to Minnesota's website you actually see a tutorial that's terrific.

-- you have -- next October look people better start learning now.

I think you're better off living in the state that hasn't you know you do in medicine every -- I mean this is your profession that's why we have you sitting here.

And you're saying that the State's better understand their own distribution of health care.

Better than Washington by far because the insurance companies are state by state they can't go across state lines so -- -- insurance company has a problem in the state.

They go to the state government not the federal government the -- to -- to deal with these insurance companies.

I hope the people out there actually living in states where there are -- you really -- provide I mean you can put states in one category the other and that seems to be the way they are breaking down we -- waiting on two states to make a decision.

Virginia I think in Florida both of the Republican governor so.

We'll see what they say very -- when they -- sure bill there's going to be a lot of confusion and a lot of money spent don't -- America.
