Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina in the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the southwest.

And our area is going to be dealing with some very unsettled weather especially across southern parts of the state of California and that's what we have a new storm system.

That's producing rain along lower elevations snow along higher elevations and temperatures and -- relatively cool San Francisco 56 degrees for your high temperature today.

Low sixties in Los Angeles also is seeing the -- and across Iraqis.

Temperatures not too bad for the month of December -- over in Denver 45 for -- high temperature in Salt Lake City.

And 46 degrees for your high in the city of Albuquerque so why not Iraqis -- -- pretty quiet.

Not much activity going on out there but again it's northern California -- we're seeing that rain coming down.

And that snow across parts of the Sierra and he won't be accumulating at times and some of that rainfall and make it as far south.

As Southern California as we -- -- late Monday and also early Tuesday morning so again some messy weather.

All along I five here is that -- -- just continues to streaming.

The good news is that we're not really expecting flooding rainfall from this storm system -- snowfall that is too heavy but just be careful on the roadways out there across California eventually that disturbance.

Will be moving into central portions of the Rockies as we get into Tuesday and also into your Wednesday with some areas of snow widespread.

Colorado you time in Mexico and even the state of Arizona but again at some -- higher elevations out here so we could be seeing some accumulation.

Areas -- -- -- the south in Phoenix Tucson and also southern New Mexico.

You are expecting just basically rainfall out as we head into basically choosing an early Wednesday morning so keep that in mind some unsettled whether here across -- entire region.
