Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the northern plains and -- across northwest we have a stretch of very messy weather in store for us.

Today and even as we head into tomorrow with blizzard warnings have been posted a -- to Washington and also and or -- Because we're talking -- not just significant -- -- humiliations.

But also significant wind and that will be producing whiteout conditions and very dangerous conditions.

If -- -- on the roadways probably recommended that you do not do that.

Especially on some of those mountain passes hopefully not get stuck -- decide to head out and again as for the state of Washington and also organ northern Rockies though.

We'll also be seeing wind and snow not as much as a blizzard but we do have winter storm warnings in effect across Montana.

Idaho Wyoming and even down into portions of Nevada so that's a very widespread area here.

That will be dealing with this messy weather with an oncoming storm system that will be producing some rain on the lower elevations.

And some -- and snow.

Northern plains you are very cool today 24 degrees for high temperature in Bismarck not too bad in Rapid City though with a high expected -- 45 degrees.

So here's a look at that storm system right now across parts of Seattle Portland down -- Medford already bringing in that rainfall that moisture off the Pacific.

And that -- stuff is snow across the cascades.

As some -- -- -- making it all the way down into parts of northern California across the Sierra with accumulating snowfall out there as well.

And we could see easily over a foot of snow here across portions of the cascades.

And take a look at the -- radar this is as we -- into your Tuesday.

And even as we head into Wednesday we have actually another storm that will be arriving suggest continuing to see the unsettled weather with this person some.

And then by Wednesday yet again another storm with more heavy rain along coastal areas.

And more heavy mountain snow there will be some moisture streaming into portions of northern Rockies but it will not be as bad as what we are expecting across parts of the cascades.

You can see that's not their cross western Montana and even down into portions.

The central Rockies with another disturbance -- will be impacting not just to central Rockies but also parts of the southern Iraqis and again another storm coming in.
