Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the southwest.
And to every now we looking now more stormy weather out across portions of California and now into the Rockies.
What we do have a storm system that's me and -- portions of the northwest now dipping southward and also eastward.
-- -- -- noticing a big drop in temperatures across portions of Iraqis like over in Salt Lake City.
Today's high temperature only 31 degrees much cooler than yesterday.
37 -- in Durango and also plaques after.
Denver Colorado expecting high temperature at forty degrees Southern California not too bad Los Angeles and San Diego expecting high temperatures into the low sixties.
-- this -- system doesn't really have significant rainfall with it or snowfall with it.
But we are going to be looking at messy travel across state of California and you -- ready see those showers.
And around that area of Los Angeles and also areas for -- -- towards north across San Francisco in the Sierra Nevada looking at some snowfall accumulation.
We do have some snow showers as well across parts of Colorado and new -- especially higher elevations.
But it really won't be until Wednesday that this storm system will really get going on across portions of the central Rockies we do have winter storm warnings in effect.
Because significant snowfall accumulation expected and also because of the wind but it is going to be a -- -- though some good news is that basically as we head into your Thursday.
The storm system will have exited the Rockies and will be moving into portions of the -- -- you're gonna have -- And quieter weather out across the -- but our next storm system quickly moves into parts of the Pacific northwest.
And basically by early Wednesday morning you're ready to -- feeling the impacts across northern California with heavy.
Rain across -- coastal areas and also some heavy mountain snow across higher elevations for -- imminent.
