Yeah get blizzard warnings in six states right now a major snowstorm is making its way from the Rockies and midwest take a look at the snowfall in South Dakota up.

Heavy snow and -- there could make travel in some parts of the country as we head into the Christmas week a very tricky.

-- CNN's dean and the fox weather center good morning Janet good morning -- and -- -- the good news is we're gonna get some snow the bad news is blizzard conditions and is going to be.

Really hard to travel over the next 24 to 36 hours across the plains states.

We have blizzard warnings from Colorado through Nebraska and Kansas all -- -- Iowa and Wisconsin heavy snow winds gusting anywhere from.

-- fifty miles plus and blowing snow that's going to make travel.

If not someone impossible next to a possible across all of these areas so snow accumulations certainly twelve to eighteen inches across the midwest and the interior northeast but again Martha bill as we get into the next 24 to 36 hours because of the blowing snow.

We're gonna see those blizzard conditions going to be very dangerous the good news is a white Christmas.
