Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperatures today -- -- the southwest.

Big winter storm developing across the west and it's going to eventually move into the central plains.

But as it moves eastward in its wake.

Very cold temperatures 31 in Salt Lake City 25 in -- these are.

Daily these -- highs for the day not even getting out of -- twenty's for Durango -- -- in Denver that this is a very powerful system.

That's gonna continue to move eastward in its wake.

Bring very stormy conditions up across the central US.

And we're still seeing some snow and blizzard conditions for Colorado parts of Nebraska and Kansas.

So again as the system moves -- we're still gonna see some very heavy snow.

Very gusty winds and with that the potential for blizzard conditions.

For the Rockies of Colorado New Mexico as the system continues.

To press in towards the central plains and there's -- future radar as we go further and time this system exits and moves into the central US.

We have another new storm system that's going to move into the northwest in northern California.
