We -- to Fox News alert we're awaiting a votes in the house on speaker John Boehner is play and beat whoever the fiscal cliff.

The Republican plan allows the bush era tax cuts to expire on those making more than a million dollars a year but keeps current tax rates for everyone else as they are.

The president has threatened to veto.

Can -- get the votes congresswoman Marsha Blackburn at a Tennessee with me now and good morning you -- where you vote in favor of this idea.

Where we're not sure exactly how we're going to buy it but I -- -- -- what what what are you what are you gonna do.

Well now let me tell you speaker Boehner deserves -- a tremendous amount of credit.

-- what he has to -- and has hung in there with that.

You know I have to tell yeah I'm and that the -- -- category because I'm one of those people that wants to say the spending cuts and that's what my constituents.

Are wanting to see they're wanting to see spending cuts and they're saying that luck.

We can't continue to give the president more money disband.

We have to be able to start raining and this deficit -- in this who -- And began to make some progress toward some fiscal restraint.

Which -- sent him parent it and I I think that people are.

There looking at the day at the deficit they look at who -- this -- -- -- And they're saying come on Mr.

President.

You campaigned on you we're going to cut the deficit in half you haven't done it that's not a promise that -- kept the American people.

You say you were -- to get spending under control instead he accelerated it.

You can't run these trillion dollar deficits.

It is time to look at entitlement reform it's time to look at stabilizing the trust funds it is time to cut the discretionary spending.

And what he is arguing yesterday is that he's -- Republicans more than half way.

I I would -- and it has I would say no and let me tell you exactly -- members of the house have done their job.

We sent bills started last may.

Finishing and September that would deal.

With the tax Extenders for everybody.

That would deal with a plan for tax reform that would handle sequestration.

And the defense cuts and better they are that -- on Harry greens deaths now.

If the president and Harry Reid wanted to be serious about this could have taken those -- up in September.

This is a crisis of their making.

They want me to push it down to -- final minutes and I think a lot of our constituents are looking at this and say you know want.

We want they run to begin to get serious about some of -- they hit it's it is true as undecided just.

Sure we've heard from a lot of Republicans over the past couple weeks we haven't heard from Democrats frankly about what can pass in the house or especially on the senate -- to come back to my original question.

Will you vote yes or no if plan -- on the floor.

I am more likely to be had no bad that with facts that I did give our leadership the tremendous amount of -- -- And trying to work this the -- to completion I think that the speaker.

And trying to negotiate with the president.

-- say given he had a really great shot the president is not willing.

To look at the spending side of the ledger and that's what people are wanting to.

I understand the point you're making there if plan -- goes down -- -- doesn't pass what does that mean.

IA and I don't know exactly what that does mean.

I don't know if there is a plan C and I go back to saying we pass these -- and they are endless and it.

That could've started keeping these bills.

Working them go to conference on this back in September I mean bill.

Those deals have been sitting there the -- I understand what it has got this.

I you -- at -- -- that expires in eleven -- do you think and I think this is the fundamental question that people -- enough.

Are we going over the cliff or were will there be a deal.

As of today I would not -- I do not have.

I don't think anybody knows I think if people knew the answer to that -- today will it get.

You know you would be seeing some activity on that at this point I do not think that there.

-- anyone knows that answer to that we would have liked.

For the president and for.

It later leader Reid to focus on this early -- and have prevented this from happening about incidents in this company.

And that answer itself.

Tells a lot.

Thank you for your time Marsha Blackburn -- to you from.

Tennessee have a Merry Christmas one -- or relatives thank you thank you.
