Some people super hard at work in the northeast are those in the religious community at work this holiday season.
In the aftermath of super storm sandy and also the new town tragedy our religion correspondent -- greens on that story.

And to remind us that there's something greater.
Than our own individual need and our own individual desire.
When lurking in sandy hit and destroyed so many lines it was religious groups among others who came to help it's not so much religion but relationship.
To god and what we've seen a Staten Island is an unprecedented.
Movement of of church is coming together.
And it's beyond the nomination.
A Chanukah celebration doubles as a charity event helping those who suffered at the hands of -- bringing a message of lying to a darkened world group.
And I can't say that there is a perfect time for the storm to the snowstorm is perfect.
But the most perfect how that if you come after such a storm -- -- that gives us a tremendous message of hope.
He's he's got he's remind us to lay aside our differences to focus on our common need -- give back to our community not just during this holiday season but they'll all year long.
