And gospel are coming together today to help the -- country as gospel singer candy Christmas and Grammy winner.

This holiday season Jason candy good to have you guys.
Thank you glad to be with you let's get right to -- candy you've been doing this for nine years now it all started the Jefferson street bridge there in Nashville.
Where you saw a tremendous need some 3000 plus homeless people.
I and I act could be under stating it but you were actually start -- that we have a hell yeah how many.
In -- -- on the streets of Nashville yes what compels a country singer to go beyond her comfort zone to help people in need where it.
It's not always comfortable.
Well Timmy Kelly it's one thing to write a check to see -- to some unknown ministry.
Somewhere else but it's another thing develop your -- and really get involved with people and help an intangible way.
And so it started -- meeting and -- that I had which I had depression.
And so it was a real feel good thing to help people who had real needs who would be eating out of the dumpster if -- wasn't there to serve him and sound.
I literally was able to give my way out of depression serve others and it's it's been wonderful wonderful round.
Well that's a great way to get a healing Jason you and I we've talked about this before where there's such a tremendous need you got your Grammy Awards status of music artist of the year.
But yet you take time out to also do -- candy rolling up your sleeves to help people were sold desperately need.
Why.
What are you know that's just that's this part of our fabric but you know I think.
One of the things is this -- here and it's easy to do that.
Came here she does every every day you know in the British ministry.
I don't know people like -- challenge me and to do better to be connected to give more.
There's -- scripture that says much is given much is required.

People on the planet and don't deserve it.

Thought that -- US states to help others maybe he helps you you know reach a place to work you know somebody will listen to be able to help others.
And so you know I'm just I'm just so delighted about today.

Last year when I was there visiting you at -- Nashville.

A massive warehouse -- go out meet the needs tell me.
Tell me what shall be doing today and and -- and providing those supplies to so many people in need.
Well we have granted the national municipal auditorium we have Ricky Skaggs and -- and why with Jason and many -- Gospel and country artists -- and will be distributing 2000 sleeping bags almost 6000.
Total accounts to homeless and underprivileged children.
-- that we will distribute to tractor trailer loads.
Food nonperishable and perishable items today.
Sells for cells has partnered with us to distribute she use these kinds of she is.
And Jews turned the toys yeah they're great they're they're.
Great she is we have a couple thousand sleeping bags at 5000.
Blanket.
And the homeless are going to have wonderful wonderful Christmas Kelly I read a story in Luke chapter fourteen.
