They are now for four people right here at this Christmas right surprisingly enough.

You know you still see a lot of suffering going on there's a lot of people who or squatting you know the people's homes there are still living in their homes without power.

There's still debris scattered everywhere.

I'd like to mobilize.

More volunteers who get out there and clean up the debris.

Clean -- to mold and get rid of the -- -- -- that these people would start rebuilding.

One of the things that you had the idea here's a lot of people give -- it's great when people give the right gifts -- you know for Toys for Tots those sorts of things.

But you think it's important that they see -- face come with us or Santa -- -- so.

Q what's it like for you and how does that make a difference to these kids yes well basically I felt that their own I didn't wanna just to be come here and get a -- -- -- -- wanted to be personal and want to make sure that my target audience was specifically.

Kids who lost toys in the hurricane and no I realized.

That the best way to do that was to be -- doing that myself you know you know the old adage if you wanna do something right.

-- do it yourself so you dress up as Santa Claus I do.

And then tell me tell me what it's like for you what is some of the reactions that you -- -- from the children it's priceless these kids are.

We have been through so much I can't imagine -- it it must feel like for them to lose their tours and just to be me.

For one moment to be able to bring -- -- for use.

And their parents is his priceless and really is like a little -- hoped -- after they've been so -- to a very rewarding our senior trying to take this now onto a bigger level and you've started a foundation tell me about it yes it's called the Santa Claus foundation.

Wound we will be looking to.

Reason of more -- worldwide from global corporations from celebrities from private citizens small donations.

The idea is if everyone in the world donate one dollar just one dollar.

I'll be able to.

-- every home in Brooklyn queens Staten Island and New Jersey and still have left over for the next storm if we ever have one.

-- also continue to keep this Christmas program growing every year every person you're trying to get people to write letters says sandy -- as you can compile these letters yes won't lose any close tradition is going to be collecting data -- -- have.

Santa's helpers out there collecting spreadsheets and letters from.

Residents on the ground who have issues that I want.

To bring some light now that I have a national spotlight wanna be a voice for those who aren't being heard and -- agree.

I would love to be able to make a difference way.

And -- Fix each home about a war on me you know what I'd like to say is one person gives -- -- one person gives a hammer before you know we have a home for you know we can rebuild.

Our entire area.

And that's the goal and a lofty goal but I -- a dream big I don't -- small but you have to and all of these things start with one person who is.

Having -- to do this I'm glad I'm.

Privileged and honored to -- do you have person and I look forward to seeing how far we can take this.
