Four legged friend very well he was three months old when he was found on the side of the road after being brutally tossed out of a moving vehicle today he's doing better than ever we're proud to proud to -- full of life and more importantly he has a new home for Christmas.

His only about four months old at the time.

With a broken neck he was in severe shock he had wounds all over him.

And I was in severe pain he would bite marks on -- as well which led you to believe that that what he was.

Probably a bait dog which means dog fighting which means they use them.

Train the other fighters says you know get a taste of -- -- He definitely came from an abused backgrounds so that was his first instance of abuse for sure.

But we have a positive message today on Christmas how his because now he -- -- home he's living with you know -- yeah I.

Couldn't let him go we've been through so much together and it was such a wonderful story -- found love with him.

And he with us and so he stayed.

Take me through the recovery process that had to be incredible if there's a doctor you're looking at this enemy is thinking.

What sort of a chance for life did you give him when you saw him.

You know I it really.

One I didn't know he would make it through the initial shock.

And editorialists give them a chance to see how this goes but then.

He was paralyzed in all four limbs so I didn't think that he would walk again at least -- walk normally.

But we wanted to give him that chance to it would happen.

And it it's really miraculous the way he's recovered he's running like a normal dog like really yes that's unbelievable crazy and it's it's wonderful.

Take me through some of them the recovery process did you have to put it mean when you did the surgery as -- walk me through all of that and how he's been able to come out of -- Well he actually didn't need surgery which was really surprising Piaf.

We we did physical therapy.

I she had a cast on his neck to keep it stabilized.

And treated him for the pain and for shock.

And just kept him in mobile and once it was healed enough then we started physical therapy.

The Suffolk County SP CA is offering a 27000.

Dollar reward for any information that could lead to the -- of these individuals -- how's that investigation going any word.

I haven't heard any word you know I know that are still.

On the case that they -- taking -- very seriously.

They really -- can't catch these guys -- I know that they're working really hard to do that.

And this is part of a broader message about animal abuse in this country to it's not just about Joey but this goes on all over the country what message do you have for individuals out there who want to help.
